    I can’t believe the mobile app is unable to render a basic jpg picture. You can’t view it at all in the app and it says you must use a computer!?

    Every engineer I work with detests this “app” / program. 245 MB for what SHOULD BE a simple FTP program? If you are on a PC it attempts to take it over. It messes with and forces your file structure. It attempts to run in the background - and can’t be turned off; only uninstalled. ( just like Adobe stuff and Teamviewer) Shame on you for your unmitigated greed.
  • Low quality preview videos

    I’m opening video 15mb size and it’s loads so slow... It’s 1080p quality original file. So dropbox encoding it to lower bitrate and showing me really poor video like 240p. This is really AWKWARD. Most stupid thing that it’s doing this even for videos like 1-3Mb size(same 1080p, but short). Answer: I don’t want each time tap download it, I just it downloaded automatically when I selecting videos. Make a cache for that also.

  • Support is Non-Existent

    08/12/2020-UPDATE #2 Direct messaged support on Twitter again, as suggested by app dev. A week later, absolutely zero response, but they managed to respond to plenty of other tweets from free accounts within 30 minutes of them being posted. 08/05/2020-UPDATE #1 App dev responded telling me to contact their Twitter social media account... Which I've already done several times with no response. Guess I'll try one more time. 08/01/2020-ORIGINAL REVIEW I hate to be "that guy", but if I could rate the app ZERO stars, I would. I've had an active DropBox account for around ten years and a paid account for the last several. Although the service agreement says this entitles me to "priority support", I've experienced the opposite. The account I use every day was disabled without any notice or reason communicated on 07/01/20. Because the account was disabled, it is impossible to log into the crowd-sourced "support forum" for assistance with the account. I was directed to send an email to support, which I did that same day. It's been one month as of today and the help ticket has still not worked and suddenly the DropBox ZenDesk support portal has literally disappeared. It was there this morning, now it only redirects to the generic and useless FAQ's. Apparently I don't know the magic words required to even have the issue acknowledged by a live human being. What an absolute waste of money, plus there goes almost 15 years of files!

  • Won’t upload in background

    Please update the app the allow uploading in the background. As of now, I have to have the app open and continually press my screen to keep it from locking for videos and photos to upload. This is a pain, especially if I am doing a lot at once. Other apps, such as Box, allow you to select what you’d like to upload and then close the app while it uploads in the background. This would be a huge improvement!

    Yes, good product but way too expensive when compared with others. Will not be renewing subscription. We’re sure you are making your share with this program
