  • So buggy

    By Tim092683
Chats don’t load well. Pics are not loading sometimes.
  • Homophobic app

    By User628286432
This app marginalizes gay men and tries to invalidate our very existence by claiming women are also gay men. Feel like reporting this app for homophobia.
  • Not like it used to be

    By redbel13
I keep getting loading errors and it messes up a lot. I know I get messages but they don't show. It says people are online but they don't show. Will never pay to use this app ever again. Now getting ads while in the middle of sending a message. Like really? What a joke.
  • It used to be a fun app.

    By Nickname12345$&@“
Grindr used to be the best app for this kind of thing. It was much more fun to use than the others because of the quickness of it and being gps based. They must have grown too big or something because they made the free version impossible to use. Nobody new comes on the app anymore because of this and I’m not paying to use an app with no fresh faces. It’s more expensive than it should be anyway.
  • Almost unusable

    By BSpur94
It’s saddens me that the most recent update has rendered this app almost completely unusable. It glitches, it doesn’t send messages and notifications have been completely thrown off to a point to I can’t do anything. Please fix it.
  • Free version unusable

    By DCFJr
The ads in the free version really make it unusable
  • Permanently banned

    By Manny_263
Banned for a span of 2 years out of the blue and have no access of getting in I tried numerous times but it is the same outcome!! I also followed all the community guidelines bad app!!
  • The ads

    By James Drinkard
Holy cow. Grindr are you serious with the non-stop ads for Xtra? Your app is so buggy and unreliable. I would never pay a cent to use it. Enough with the ads please.

The developers have zero control over the app because malvertising adware has infected the app at every level. It’s entirely broken and someone should be fired and if I was in charge there would be criminal charges but alas the developers will do nothing and then die unhappy at the ripe old age of 50.
  • Y’all literally broke it…again

    By Thinblueline911
Another failed app update that did nothing but break the only feature it has…chat. Ads galore. I don’t even think free games on the App Store has as many ads that Grindr has, especially since you charge paid users so much. It’s no wonder why the charge amount goes up and up and up, and subscriber counts go down, down, down. Looking for guys by tags? Awesome! Here’s 3 guys you’re able to message. The others? Well you can see them but being able to message them is restricted by a paywall. Oh he’s cute. But he’s straight (why are you on a gay app then?) and looking for trans (again, maybe a different app would be better for you). “Hey how are you?” *blocked*. Well that was cool. So much for trying to be nice. “Hey”. Insta-response: “hi would you verify by signing up for this fraud website before we meet up” What even is that? Oh, bots, that you’ve still failed to take care of years later. Add in all the horror stories for being banned for no reason. At the end of the day, your priorities seem pretty out of whack for maintaining an actual stable (legitimate) business model that protects its users and stands up to the constant bullying and spam that goes on within. Maybe it’s time to take a step back and reassess what values (other than greed) you can bring back to the GAY MALE community.
