  • Paid version of a free app

Everything in this app is identical to the free version. Scam.
  • New Monthly paywall after originally paying for app

Unacceptable. I took the plunge and bought the full app a while back and now they’ve started locking “content” behind a monthly paywall. Absolute joke of a move, blatent greed. Don’t bother with this app.
  • To pay or not to pay

Both versions of the app- free and $2.99 are incomplete. Even if you pay for the app, you still have to subscribe for full access. I’m so sick of subscriptions. Just make the app paid and be done with it. Aside from this HUGE annoyance, because I paid for the app and don’t want to subscribe for knots… the app is good. Simple and easy to understand. Good on-hand reference. Definitely not something I would pay $3 a month for though.
  • Strange pricing model

What’s the sense of subscribing to something that doesn’t update or change much or often? Other than providing a steady income stream to the developer, a one-time fixed price would make much more sense. It’s more a book than a magazine…
  • Yearly Subscription after purchasing app? Knot for me!

Purchased the app for $2.99 and then find out many of the knots require a yearly subscription! Knot gonna happen!

Have had and used this app for a few years. Love the app and have recommended it to my friends. Now I have to pay! Sorry knot anymore. Will be deleting from my phone. 🤬

Now I need to be a paying subscriber to see all the knots -don’t think so. Knots 3D is my go to app. Fully animated with rotation and speed options. Oh, no subscription necessary as well!
  • Great if you are a patron

So I paid for the app a while ago. I never review apps but this needs to be said. If you buy the app. Why do I have to them sign up to a subscription for access to all the knots. Seems a little contour intuitive. It’s also a great app if you like to are up like a soup sandwich. They claim to have the most knots. Yet you will find a figure of 8 over 10 times. And that is 9 more than needed.

Since charging a subscription ($31.99/year…for knot diagrams!), this app is growing less and less essential. There are plenty of alternatives out there, and then there is Google.
