Description

Because symptoms in diseased plants can appear slowly, it is very difficult for farmers to notice and correctly diagnose the disease. Leaves are the most commonly observed part for detecting an infection. All the farmers have to do is to wave the phone in front of the leaf of a tomato diseased plant and the app would diagnose it and suggest ways to maintain the crop. The plant diseases are a major thread to losses of modern agricultural production. Plant disease severity is an important parameter to measure disease level and thus can be used to predict yield and recommend treatment. The rapid, accurate diagnosis of disease severity will help to reduce yield losses. Another Advantages: + You can protect them. + You can grow more crops. + You can have more reliable source of food This app allows the opportunity to use computer vision techniques to monitor the disease type and severity and increase yields. A huge image database (thousand of images of tomato leafs) has been used to get the maximum accuracy. This app has also an option to report an image that couldn’t be recognised. If that is the case, it is automated that you can report it immediately by email to the author. So it guarantees that the database will be improving constantly. The intended purpose of this app is help the farmers to build a better and bigger crops, which results in a more sustainable world. For any doubt, please contact me at [email protected]

It is not often that we get the extraordinary service from the creator of an app. Well I’m here to tell you that the person behind this app genuinely cares about the people using it. He even helped me with his knowledge of a competing app. I am 100% behind this endorsement. Excellent experience.

Took pictures of my tomato plant leaf showing problem. Nothing. Says identified but then nothing. The treatment button doesn’t do anything. Totally useless.

I have a small tomato garden. Initially I was yielding impressive crop from my 4 tomato plants. Then the plants began to fail. My attempts to rescue the plants was unsuccessful. Once I found this easy to use app, I can now isolate the problem. No more guessing.
  • Does not save the photos for further reference and control help

This is no different than his plant diseases app. Same issues that you can’t access the photos again after analysis. I went to my plant nursery person to ask what control could help with a tomato leaf disease and he wanted to see the photo but it wasn’t there to see nor was the previous analysis. It’s just not doing it for me. I feel I’ve been taken advantage of TWICE now. My bad for thinking this would be useful.
