  • Great App and Service

I began using Edison Mail a couple of weeks ago, but so far my experience is superb. The interface is user friendly and functionality definitely outshines other mail apps I've used. Recognizing that every email client will have some features others don't, overall I have found Edison's functionality greatly improves my workflow. I especially like the design of the inbox which makes viewing and organizing messages a breeze. When I encountered one small glitch and reported it to Edison, they immediately responded and noted that a fix is in development. The most recent update to the app indeed fixed the issue and it deserves a 5 star rating!

My copy has no ability to sort emails into folders using sorting rules, leaving everything in one large pile.

App is nothing as advertised for me. Paid and used it for almost a year and for me Outlook and GMail offer a better way for me to manage my email. The biggest challenge aside from timely customer service (vis email only) is the absolute lack of control over junk mail and non junk. Doesnt matter how often you take both, they DONT work. I spend more time in my Junk mail folder managing legitimate emails than the inbox. Paid the money and I'll consider it an investment in first hand knowledge of this product. There are FAR better options unless you need more lack of control and an increase in frustration in your email routine.

everytime i click all inboxes or trashcan, app just freezes and crashes. been happening for a week now, no update.
  • Cannot use Outlook.com email

Works fine for Gmail, but fails to connect to Outlook.com (authentication error - username/password not valid). Since that knocks out 50% of my email, this app is useless to me. Looks like it could have been promising, based on the Gmail experience, but I have to move on.

Really like Edison Email and have been using it for a long time now. Only thing I wish that would be added is an email filtering capability. THe blcker is oky, but I'd rather have a full filter and move to trash, delete, etc. Thanks!

  • Need Integrations

Nice UI, very clean! Spark is way ahead of you with integrations. I would switch to Edison if you had integratioins to send emails to Things3 and Apple Reminders. Also would like to be able to add dates in email to Apple calendar!

I was really hoping this feature would work. I really like the interface and how the app works but having to input my accounts 4 times for each of my devices is ludicrist. I followed the directions but it never worked.
  • snooze is great

it was the one feature i needed to switch over. great client. would love to see a few optimizations such as snooze not requiring a new window to select your option, just show it inline as a popup menu. the delination between threaded email messages are hard to see. maybe make the header of each message in a thread different color so i can easily pick it out in dark theme. overall keep going.
