    They’re not joking. This really does SUDDENLY decide to revert to a previous version of the same document with no warning. It also has the reported issue with refusing to update the ‘compiled’ document to the newest version, though I found that goes away after a few refreshes. I suppose this is what I get for downloading a free app.

  • Won’t compile beyond the first time

    It only compiles the first time when I choose the “preview (eye)” icon on the top-right corner. Any future compiles after editing the document isn’t generating any new output: displaying the same “My first LaTeX document”. Not sure how this is so highly rated and its seems pretty deficient and dysfunctional.

    I have a bunch of Tex files in my Google drive, the app lets me connect to Google drive, I can see the files, but they are greyed out and I cannot open them or do anything with them.

  • Pretty good but bibtex/biber support missing

    It is pretty good if it were to support bibtex/biber. I guess there is some workaround for this. But it would be a nice feature to look into in the future.

    Q4 2022 - opened app and redeemed a gift of a Pro membership In ~2009, I learned there was such a thing as LaTeX. I love math and research and saw the value immediately. I now teach computer science to secondary students and plan to introduce LaTeX as one of a few excellent markup languages. Thank you to the app for a free version of the Pro features. I’m excited to use the app!!
