Articulation Station Hive is the most comprehensive speech therapy app on the App Store. It has all the tools and activities needed to teach learners of all ages how to speak more clearly. To start with, it has 17 different activities to target speech in both consonants and vowels from the isolation level through the conversation level. ARTICULATION STATION HIVE OFFERS: ISOLATION ACTIVITIES: - Hand cues provide a video model with a hand cue for each sound. - Picture cues offer fun animated illustrations for each sound. - Letter cues pair the letter with the sound in a playful way. SYLLABLE ACTIVITIES: - Syllable sliders allow learners to slide 2 sounds together to make a word. - Syllable spinners allow learners to spin 1, 2, and 3 syllable combinations. WORD ACTIVITIES: - Minimal Pairs illustrate the subtle differences sounds in words make. - Flashcards provide a quick and reliable tool for focused repetition. - Matching games (3 levels) keep kids (and adults) engaged in the activity. PHRASE ACTIVITIES: - Rotating phrases allow learners to spin a lead word and a target word for a limitless number of two word combinations. - Unique phrases are three-word descriptive phrases that are perfect for addressing both speech and language goals. SENTENCE ACTIVITIES: - Fixed rotating sentences are like long “carrier phrases” where the sentence stays the same and only one target word changes. - Mixed rotating sentences mix things up. With each spin a new pronoun, verb, adjective and target word spin into position. - Unique sentences are usually longer and at times more complex than the rotating sentences. STORY ACTIVITIES: - Level 1 stories are short, rhyming, and sometimes repetitive stories paired with picture prompts. - Level 2 stories are longer stories with larger vocabulary and even more opportunities to practice the target sound. CONVERSATION ACTIVITIES: - Conversation scenes allow the learner to scroll from right to left to explore the scene. Speech samples can be recorded, saved and scored. - Conversation questions offer four different types of questions.   • Quickly becoming a speech therapy favorite

    I have had my membership to Articulation Station Hive (and now Test Center Hive) for a few months. For my clients with speech sound disorders, it is quickly becoming my favorite app to use in speech therapy. And my clients love it too. My first favorite feature are the minimal pairs. These are not only help when specifically employing the minimal pairs therapy approach but great for kids with both phonological errors and articulation challenges. I love how I can use it for feedback with kids and to teach them to self-monitor. My other favorite feature is how the 2 apps in my Hive subscription talk to each other. So I can use Test Center to evaluate and then the client along with their data is already in Articulation Station when I start therapy. The parents I have recommended the app to, have also been happy using it at home for carry-over of our clinic-based work. This app and the subscription is very comprehensive. I love that I have the app on my Mac laptop, my ipad and my phone so I can always pull it out in a session no matter which supplies I have with me.

    I don’t regularly write reviews but just had to because ever since getting Articulation Station Hive It has saved me so much time and stress. All the prep I was doing before with boxes of speech sound cards and having to haul them for push-in sessions or organize them before the next group came into my room… that’s all gone. I love being able to even go right back to what we worked on the last session easily in the app! Some of my favorite things are the isolation and syllable levels being added- the speech sound cues are so stinkin’ cute! I also love being able to do minimal pairs! This also saved me so much time writing progress reports! I just went back to the scores and grabbed ALL the data for the child since the beginning of the school year. Seriously this has been worth every penny when it comes to convenience, time and stress. The kids love it too!

    I really enjoy this app, there are so many options and it keeps my students entertained. I only wish that there were more options in terms of games, and targets (for example polysyllabics, not necessarily by sound). i also wish little bee would expand to some grammar targets as well!

    I love this platform but as a teacher the price is too high. Would much rather buy outright than pay yearly.

    I am pretty baffled at the decision to move to a subscription instead of a one-time purchase with this new app. A subscription might be valuable if content were changing or updated every month, but this is not the case. I cannot justify spending so much regardless of my caseload. It’s a shame since there are some good features! My students liked the images for sounds in isolation. Another idea for making this app more reasonably priced could be to separate all the “extras” like emailing parents and the complex data options that don’t seem very functional or realistic for most SLPs.

    I use this app every day with almost every client I have with speech production issues. It addresses isolated sounds ( vowels, consonants, and blends) up to conversation. At the isolated level, it has videos with hand cues. At the word level, there are flash cards, min8,Al pairs, and matching games. There are rotating and unique phrases and sentences and leveled stories. And then, at the conversational level, you can discuss scenes or answer questions. It is absolutely worth the investment!

    The ability to use Articulation Station Hive on the Mac makes it perfect for teletherapy, pulling up my data for writing progress reports or showing parents and for just generally using the app! The app itself is incredibly comprehensive. I love that I can work on sounds in isolation with animated illustrations, picture cues and descriptions that help with carryover. One of my favorite features is minimal pairs- any sound pair?!? AMAZING!

    I have articulation Pro and it’s a great app that I use for my child who has apraxia. I just happen to notice this app. I was stunt when I saw the cost of this app. For single parents like me, who are already struggling with their kids medical bills, seeing bed hungry developers exploit the disabilities of their children is beyond sickening. Your company is a true example of when money is more important than children with disabilities. Shame on you!!!!

    I have been a huge fan of the Little Bee Apps for many years and use them throughout the day in my treatment sessions. I recently decided to try the Little Bee Articulation Hive and I am buzzing with excitement (and wondering why I waited)! I love the addition of isolation, syllable, phonological processes, blends, minimal pairs and the changes in the data has taken this app to a different level. As a busy SLP, I am all about working smarter...not harder and this software helps me do just that! I used it for the first time today with a 2 year old client. He was very engaged and was able to produce /f/ for the first time using the Funny Bunny that provides a cute visual that he loved and produced the /f/ independently after a model. There are so many great additions to this new software that I am excited to try with my other clients. Little Bee Articulation Hive (and all of their apps) are easy to use and work great in both the schools and private practices because everything you need in your clinical practice to achieve effective articulation intervention is in this software. It truly is the Bees Knees!
