  • A nice successor for FFBE and FFT

So far my experience with the game has been great, the graphics, soundtrack, gameplay and, to a degree, the voice acting has been much better than what I had originally expected when I heard of this game. I’m pretty sure this game deserves a 5 stars review, but I haven’t really played it enough to say for certain. There are only two issues I have at the moment, but it might just be that I haven’t really explored everything the game has to offer yet. First, in comparison to FFBE, it varies greatly gameplay-wise and that’s a good thing, but, while the growth of each character and their abilities allows for a deep and varied customization of each character, personally I kind of miss having unique Limit Break abilities for each character, because even if they do exist, I’ve only seen them in the UR units and Mont Leonis, which makes most of the other units seem lacking somehow. The second issue is related to the "Missions" in the normal shop, which are only available by purchase with paid visiore, not free visiore. While I agree in part with the fact that the missions displayed are only available with paid in-game currency, because they are extremely good and as such worth spending on, I think that this part of the shop has a lot of potential to include diverse, challenging and interesting missions for players to attempt in order to get various rewards, but all the missions should not be exclusive for paid visiore, otherwise this feature wouldn’t really appeal to all the players and as such wouldn’t really draw it’s full potential.
  • It’s ok

You will really like the game if you ignore how the AI for auto runs is beyond stupid to the point where some of ur characters run out of their way sometimes to kill their own friends. The pvp is terrible for the same reasons above since you don’t control the fights. I also hate the terrain. It’s only like this to make fights longer if you’re anything other than a range class since you can shoot through walls for some stupid reason. Other than that the game is ok
  • Took me back

This game takes me back to when I first got my hands on Final Fantasy Tactics for the PS1. One of the most classic games I ever loved.
  • Ignore any poor reviews

This games is more than I could have ever hoped for in a Tactics style adaptation of the Brave Exvius world. The artwork is absolutely beautiful, the story is intriguing, and there seems to be an endless amount of things to do in the game. It does help a great deal to watch some YouTube guides on how to get started. I restarted my account after a week once I learned that I could have been doing things much better in game from the beginning.
  • Cumbersome, but still Best in class

The game is cool, but has some small mechanics that needed to be refined before launch. Destroying the enemy (think narrow bridges) creates an unpassable terrain, so missions are needlessly delayed. As a player, we should be able to incinerate a cadaver to speed this up (dropping the crystal or obliterating the crystal in the process doesn’t matter, I just want to run the story without wasting my life waiting out the needless mechanics. I want to be one of those that cries P2W, but for what the game could be, it’s not that bad, just need to iron out the kinks in the growing pains. It’s evident that the launch was rushed to capitalize on the quarantine times, so I look forward to changing my rating when the “live beta test” of sorts is done and I don’t feel like I’m forced to lose time on mechanics that should properly have other mechanics to bypass the hinderances (let me at least drag dead bodies out of the way....?)
  • Great game but expensive

Great game og tactics player with everything u could ask for with updates and adding new chars and such. But game can be pretty expensive and the grind is unreal. Overall ill still play it but not too in-depth cuz you will get to a point where u gotta shell out some money. Also its about $40 for a 10x pull which is pretty steep.
  • It’s waaay too focused on pay to win

I was excited at first but you’re massively underpowered and have much less chance at a decent team if you’re not paying. Only play this if you’re going to whale it. If not, avoid it. P.s. shame on you gumi for ruining the spirit of final fantasy tactics
  • Great game with major flaw

Aside from the usual great reviews you can include most the amazing comments for me as well however ~ the major flaw in this game vs tactics is that AI was actually tactical in tactics but in here the AI is suicidal (referencing to the computer side AI) the game quickly runs out of challenge and becomes very easy to predict enemy AI. I could understand AI for player side being basic as to prevent full automation which makes sense you gota earn your achievements as much as possible. But in the arena the AIs both just literally gungho to death and avoid survivability or to actively hunt crystals for opportunities to turn the tide. In terms of story and idea I give 5 stars but the value in spending cash really belongs to just gota have characters ~ the game quickly loses challenge and becomes extremely predictable with regards to the AI. Therefore it loses two stars until the AI is matching that of Tactics. If your Gona follow Final Fantasy Tactics you need to live up to the challenge that tactics held within it. This game is super easy mode and is annoying to watch the arena AI go at it.
  • Great game! And a tip for newbies

Your main focus is to roll for Mediena the Ice Mage. Easier to use her to farm. Each characters have different element attributes. Focus on one ice element such as Mediena for her Awakening. The items for the awakening are very limited. If you spend it on another character such as Gilgamesh which is a ice element. You might face difficulties unless your willing to spend a bit of money instead of being free to play. For more infor just join re-ddit forums. I love this game and it remind me of final fantasy tactics. And the story line is voice and awesome. Don’t let the gatcha system get in your way. You can still have fun as a free to play player.

It is a lot of fun. The chat icons during battle do not function for me most times. Or maybe I don’t know how to use them.
