  • Cute but...

This is a cute game I downloaded for my 4 (now 5) year old son. It seemed like a solid option and he loves the look BUT this game always ends with him extremely frustrated and in tears because the controls are simply awful. The fundamental flaw with this game is that there is no way to stop the turtle once he starts moving. Unlike every other game we've ever played, releasing the directional movement button does not stop the turlte. If you tap in a direction, the foolish reptilian will continue ad infinitum! This makes the game extremely annoying and difficult to play for kids (and their frustrated parents too). If you'd fix that flaw, it could be a fun game but as it is now, it is just maddening.

I love, love, love the color, music, and vibrancy of this game. I also love it's simplicity. What i don't like are the frame drops. It seems that the beginnings of levels start off great. Very smooth. But as the levels progress the frame rates drop and it gets choppy. Unbearably choppy. I can't see why there'd be a reason for this since the game doesn't seem graphically intensive. I'm running this on my 2017 Imac with Radeon 580. Developers please fix! I'll gladly update this review!

I'd like to thank you for making an action game that can be played with one hand. I stumbled on to that by accident and I love it. Great story, graphics and music.
