I bought it about 6 times now and it’s still better than ever

Controls… all I’m gonna say. Very much cripples UV and UV+. Wish they added a doom builder feature, instead of the limited .wads they have. Btsx is good an all but I’d love to multiplayer sunder and Potentially SunLust and other ribbiks maps.

I just wanted to play a fun nostalgic game from back in the day. It has a lot of satanic stuff
  • I second adding custom controls!

Great game obviously, not going into the history of it once again, but these controls don’t do the gameplay justice. Matter of fact, they are so sluggish and accidental that they full on drag the experience down. For example, it’s like playing electric guitar and having to hold it up at the same time because you didn’t buy a strap - playing’s almost impossible. These controls are like the equivalent to that. The gameplay indeed suffers as a result. If we could adjust the size and position like others have said, that just might be crazy enough to work! My fat thumbs can’t press the fire button all the time so a one size fits all approach here is NOT the way to treat such a classic

Now we need doom 3 and 64 or better yet what if you guys make a doom classic collection that has doom 1 doom 2 doom 3 and doom 64 in one game and make it like 20 dollars and for every platform with mod support i and a lot of other people would buy it heck I’d buy it for every platform.
  • Needs screen layout options

Worthless game. Terrible control. No option to increase or decrease fire “button” or open-door “button” size. No option to move buttons around on screen. Turning on run all the time turns it off. Because i can’t increase fire button size I miss pressing it often, resulting in getting pelted by enemies that should end up dead. Why do I miss the fire button? Because I have to use my right thumb to turn my character, and it never seems to stay on the same place on the screen. And it would be nice if I could open doors with my right hand and not only my left. Also, I don’t want a fire button on both the left and right. I know a touchscreen isn’t an ideal way to play an fps, but giving the player options to change the screen layout would go a long way to making this a better playable game. As it currently stands I wouldn’t waste your $5 on this.

No se puede jugar cuando no puedes levantar la mirada o saltar. Muy pero muy mal. Creo q puedo ser un buen juego. También falta la posibilidad de jugar tus propios mods y wads.
  • Why wouldn’t they modernize it

I bought the iPhone because I always heard they have superior games. But this game is both sad and pathetic compared to the android counterparts. You even have to create an account to try to use different maps. Wishing I could get my money back.
  • IMPOSSIBLE CONTROLS! TERRIBLE PORT! WASTE!

If you've ever wondered what it's like to play doom 2 as a drunk and high doom guy who is wearing a neckbrace while zooming around in an electric wheelchair. Controls are atrocious, and you cannot customize the HUD or where the control buttons are to fire and open doors. All in all, harder to play than the GBC Doom 2. No changes or care went into porting this for the IOS, so thanks for nothing Bethesda. Unless you want it for the nostalgia factor, this is a complete waste of money. I deleted it after going down to 48 health in the first map! Almost impossible to play. Don't get fooled!
