Description

If you have multiple food allergies, one of the best ways to help yourself is to “rotate” your foods, or eat a rotation diet. Four days allow you to keep track of what you are eating to avoid repetition and prevent you from forming new food intolerances What is a rotation diet? A rotation diet is a system of controlling food allergies by eating biologically related foods on the same day and then waiting at least four days before eating them again. Such a diet can help those with food allergies in several ways and may help prevent the development of allergies to new foods. Why rotate your foods? 1. We are biologically designed to rotate foods. Man is meant to eat with the seasons. We are not designed to eat avocado every single day, because nature does not allow for it. In nature (or even 100-150 years ago) we ate what was local and available. 2. Rotation allows for more nutrient diversity. If we eat avocado as our main source of fat every day, we’re missing out on all of the healthy fats in olive oil, coconut, and beef tallow. Different foods come with different nutrients and we need variety for vibrancy! 3. Eating the same foods constantly can cause food intolerances and impede gut healing Any food, if eaten repetitively, can cause food allergies especially if we have gut issues. Why? Like we stated above, our bodies aren’t designed to eat the same thing over and over again. And if we have permeable intestines and are eating avocado daily, our immune system is reacting to the avocado over, and over, and over again. Eventually it becomes too much. Surely, the goal is to heal the gut. However, an important piece of gut healing is to remove inflammation, and stopping new intolerances from forming. Thus, a rotation diet can be an amazing strategy within a gut healing template.

This app helps me keep track of the respective foods for each day. It desperately needs a delete button for lists and added food items. I made a list by mistake and now I'm stuck with it… and my OCD stings a bit.

This app is not allowing me to add foods. When I add the name of the food it won’t let me implement that food until a photo is taken of it. The app won’t let me take the photo. Please advise.

Hi. I downloaded the app because the reply on the previous review said custom categories were added. These were added to intolerance food list, but I can’t add foods to the category? It is also not possible to add custom food that I am allowed to eat. I can also not review my food intolerance list? Please help. I really like the idea that the app can tell you when the food is available again.
  • Not enough food choices

This app doesn’t even include Beef in the protein choices. It needs a lot more variety, and the ability for users to customize their lists by easily adding new foods (perhaps with an image gallery to choose from?) I wish I could get a refund.

This app is amazing!!! I’ve been struggling with food sensitivities in and off for over 15 years and this is just what I need to avoid future sensitivities. As a feature request... can you add “fats/oils”? I’m sensitive to safflower, olive, coconut, and soybean oils so that doesn’t leave many options and I don’t want to create problems with the few remaining options like avocado, almond, apricot seed, sunflower, canola! Fingers crossed!

Hello. I am the first person to review this app. I usually don’t post reviews, but I want the developer to know I appreciate that this app is available. I like the simple design and can see how it will help me rotate foods and will also help me to think of foods I usually wouldn’t consider. At the moment it seems somewhat limited, but I think that is because it is new. In terms of improvements, I would like to see an option to add in foods that are not included in the current selection, such as Honeydew or Cantaloupe or different varieties of fish that are local to me. I would also like to see nuts and seeds added to the app. I’m looking forward to seeing how the app develops over time. Thank you for creating it.
