Delmarva Power Smart Home is a pilot program to help residential customers in Maryland take control of their vacation home or rental property’s energy use, increase comfort and reduce energy costs. Participants in this program receive a Delmarva Power Smart Home kit packed with easy-to-install smart devices like plugs, LEDs and occupancy sensors. Downloading the Delmarva Power Smart Home app is the first step in getting your smart home up and running. The Delmarva Power Smart Home app guides you through the process of setting up your new smart home technology and helps you seamlessly manage your new devices from a single app. Through the app, you can: · Monitor and control lighting, home appliances, smart thermostats and other devices remotely. Anytime, anywhere. · Receive notifications about your property’s energy use, and when occupants arrive and leave a property. · Get alerts when doors or windows are opened, or other motion is detected, in an unoccupied property. · And more!
