    The workouts are good and have decent variety, but the UX makes it so hard to use that I gave up on the app for now. The way it shows the workouts requires you to constantly go back to your phone and click a bunch of things just to be able to see what you need to do next. They could’ve easily had all the information for the entire workout in a single screen including rest periods, weights, reps, checks for ones youve done, etc but Shred makes you go through dozens of screens to get this information instead, meaning you have to pick up your phone and click through a bunch of things after every exercise

    I really enjoy using SHRED for 3+ years now. The workouts are solid, the breaks between sets are fair, and the workout programs are diverse. It has a workout plan for anyone new or expert level. Even if you don't use all of the extra perks, the basic workouts are solid enough. And I can even log my outdoor workouts to keep track of my progress. I would only ask SHRED to include a log for the distance I go when I run or ruck outdoors. I can log the time it took, but not the mileage. Regardless, I highly recommend for those that are serious about getting back in shape and want to be consistent. Shred on!!

    Ever since the last app update and the integration of “AI,” the performance of this app has really declined. The recommended workouts don’t align with the goals, they are really repetitive, and the UI is clunky and not intuitive. It’s a bummer because I really used to love it.

    I downloaded this app when Bodybuilding’s app, Bodyfit, stopped working for a few weeks. I am so glad I found Shred instead - their workouts are personally way more effective for me and I feel like I am staring to see results just after 3 weeks of use. They have so many different workouts and the app is infinitely better than Bodyfit. I highly recommend the investment if you are someone like me who needs a detailed work out plan to stay on track at the gym.

    By far the best exercise program — app or otherwise — I have followed. It gives you a varied workout and let’s you choose the muscle groups you want to target. Or, follow their recommendations! I’ve never been more fit or stronger.
