This app cost $40 and only has basic editing capabilities that every other app already has.

I purchased this app 3 days ago. It worked amazing the first use with uploading one image. I played around for maybe 10 min. Fast forward two days later and the app will let me upload a photo then quickly shuts down. I have tried for over 3 hours to get this app to work. I even updated my mac and still nothing.

I never expected the app to be so incredibly good!!! I have used a number of other art filters for pictures for our Samsung Frame TV, but this app is simply astonishing. I kept staring at the product of my first picture in wonder! Thank you and thank you to the developers!

IF you're toying with whether to make the purchase for this wonderful app or not, then let me just say: DON'T HESITATE. Just get it. Load your photos (though I have found that a high exposure and a decent contrast. making the photo's elements' edges clearer, work best. As does raising saturation levels before putting it through Waterlogue. It does what it says it does, and it's a real bargain for the price. You'll be constantly delighted by the results for years to come. This app was made with love, and that's appropriate because I'm in love with it. There are a variety of sliders to make your Waterlogue pic unique, along with various filters, such as Illustration and Bold, which all fit within the watercolour look, but have their own razz matazz to them. I personally like to adjust settings so my pictures end up with a more illustrated look, but you may find it looks better "soaked" (emulating heavy water soakage on the "canvas"). What are you doing still reading this!? Just buy it already. Go have fun. Shoo! Shoo! Go enjoy it already!
  • The best photo to painting app I've seen yet

Better than any photo filters I've ever used for Photoshop, this program brings out the best in my photographs. I'm enjoying the flexibility of the tools. Haven't printed anything out yet but looking forward to seeing the results.

Exactly what I have been looking for and at a reasonable price!
  • Excellent-- would be even better with batch processing

There are lots of junky filter and frame apps that aren't worth the trouble-- an impulse buy that you use twice and then discard. Waterlogue is a genuinely excellent water process, a very convenient alternative to tweaking and manual editing in Photoshop or Painter; doesn't have the power of those tools obviously, but its very fast and convenient. What's missing: 1) batch processing, the ability to process a group of files with one setting. This would be terrific. 2) a layers system, allowing for some control over processes. . . . but these want list items notwithstanding, this is a very nicely done product which I use frequently
  • Great!
