Description

Blue Mangoo Parametric Equalizer is an audio unit plugin, with six bands of filter controls: - Low cut and high cut with adjustable Q (resonance) - Two bell filters with adjustable Q - Low and high shelf filters This plugin exists because we needed an equalizer that is easy to use in the small screen space of an iOS Audio Unit plugin, but still powerful enough to do relatively complex filtering. * Blue Mangoo Parametric Equalizer is an AU3 plugin. It runs within an audio unit host app such as Garage Band. It does not run as a standalone app.

  • Doesn’t even show up

Don’t buy this. I have the latest iPad Pro that can more than handle just about anything I throw at it. I bought this based on ratings. It doesn’t show up in Audiobus in the effects or any other slot. The app says it works in Audiobus. It doesn’t. I restarted the iPad, deleted and reinstalled. Nothing. I feel like I was ripped off.
  • As good as goose eq but without the subscription model

Couldn't find an iPhone auv3 that was lightweight yet powerful. These blue mango folks are killing it. Goose eq was good too but I'm not subscribing to a eq plugin (lol). This is the one for me. Sounds fantastic and lots of control. Stable and also has frequency visualizer for better adjustment. 👍

  • My go-to EQ

In terms of sound quality, it’s the same as the EQ that comes with your DAW. What makes this one stand out above the rest is the UI. It’s the only EQ that is easy to use in small windows like the ones you get on iPhone in portrait orientation. It has the right amount of control so that I can quickly find the sound I need. The main reason it’s so fast is that it gives me a carefully limited set of musical options, instead of filling the UI with rarely-used buttons and switches along with unusual filter shapes. If you need really advanced options and esoteric EQ curves, this is not he app you are looking for. But for everyday EQ adjustments, this is the fastest, easiest way to do what you need.
