  • Instead of making it better, you made it worse and make the old version the paid one

Instead of putting work into the program and adding incentives to make a pay plan worth it, you removed features we had from the program and to go back to what we had you want an insane amount of money. That’s such a scummy tactic. Screw this I’m going to affinity design 2 instead. 1 time $30 fee I ahead of $120 A YEAR. A shame because this was a great program, but not worth it.
  • Love it, but…

I’ve been using this app for a couple years now. I love its overall functionality. Just bummed the originally company was bought out and now it’s not free. Went from a free program to a $120 a year fee. I understand they have to make money. It is what it is. The app itself is amazing.
  • App does not use Full Screen (outdated 2012 UI/UX, hello???)

Functionally, the app appears to be a great vector app alternative to the likes of Inkscape. However, my biggest complaint with this app is that it does not make proper use of the Full Screen functionality like almost every app does these days on macOS. To clarify, the green button to make the window bigger and use an entire 4K screen SHOULD NOT be a plus symbol; that function is Zoom (this does NOT cover the Dock and Menu Bar) - and instead should be a proper Full Screen button (green button with opposing triangles pointing diagonally, WILL cover the Menu Bar and Dock, and use a 4K screen appropriately) Please update this and I will change my user rating accordingly. I hope the dev team and customer serve rep Nadya will do as I requested to give this to the dev team. 2 stars until this is changed. Thanks.
  • Why has this changed so much ?

I haven’t used this program in a while and I go to redownload it only t9 see it ask me for AN ACCOUNT? Never asked for that before. I have too many accounts so I closed it- only to find that it won’t let me use the program without an account. Which is a red flag. And I go back to reviews and - it’s subscription based now. Monthly, and not a flat rate. On top of that, it’s deleted people’s pre-existing files and demanding cloud storage usage? Have you learned nothing from the other programs that have used this slimy tactic? No thank you- I’m not dealing with this again. I miss vectinator like I missed old forger but I’ll stick with clip and procreate instead.
  • Paid Already?!

I thought I paid a flat fee for Vectornator and this update requires a subscription? That’s unfair

After using this app for two years, they deleted all of my files and told me I needed to upgrade to the pro version.
  • A great app that has now been locked behind a paywall

When this app was Vector actor it was incredible! Then it was sold and became Curve. It was still great! Then, came the paywall, the subscription service, everything you would expect from Adobe. This is no better than that now. Features that were once free, storage that was local and unlimited, is now all limited to just three files, and some features are now paywalled. It’s sad that this once great app has become this, a symbol of greed. Offer a one time fee, and maybe I’d come back. It’s unfortunate and sad what the devs have done.
  • Needs improving

Keeps crashing and won’t let me open the app
  • Some issues saving files Subscription

Curve used to work fine when I saved designs. Now, it saves improperly and cannot be reopened by Curve. I unfurtunately lost a design because the app crashed and the save file was not accessible. EDIT: I believe this might've been fixed but am not willing cough up a monthly subscription to use an app that was once free. Quite unfortunate.
