App Uninstaller - Clean Leftover Application Files

Fortunately if your Applications Folder is protected by the finder, you will need to enter your password time and again to remove all junk apps. But it was great fun!

After days of one email at a time with someone on the other side of the world, using this app the problem software was gone, one click. Relief.

Love this app. It makes uninstalling abstruse applications easy and painless. This is a must-have for all Mac OS users.

works great and is super easy!

Cons: 1) Can't resize window... wha? 2) can't maximize window... huh? 3) because of 1&2 can only see 5 apps at a time... little frustrating if you have 212 to scroll through, yeah? 4) AppCleaner (still free, still ventura/M1 compatible) finds things this doesn't like: 4a) some preference files missed by this app 4b) files in the "Group Containers" folder inside the user library 4c/5) was excited to see it find orphan files by apps previously uninstalled... where is this feature exactly? I DO NOT SEE IT. This was a really good feature in my previous paid solution for around the same price called AppDelete, by Reggie Ashworth, but it's not had updates in too long... 6) a dozen or more apps not alphabetized for some reason and end up at the end of the list? 7) found some items within app packages... not sure that's helpful unless you REALLY know what you're doing... and if you do, you're not likely to use this tool that only accidentally does that ~1% of the time... 8) Going under About App Uninstaller yields the revelation this is only the second build! Yikes, this is the 1.0 version... released about 6 YEARS ago... and has had ZERO updates to the app store version at least... That's just my initial observation / use report with about 3 minutes of use... .... I think I'm gonna stop using it now... oh well... it's the #1 rated on the app store... those things I mentioned are clearly not that hard to address... sigh... this is the problem with this app store model. so many good apps not on here, so many bunk ones rise to the top. Mac tech/user for 35 years If you trust this company for some bizarre reason to take your money and put it into an update... I guess you could decide on supporting them... otherwise, go grab AppCleaner for free99!

This is a very clunky app. You have to re-scan every time that you want to go back to the app removal screen. Then, when you select an app to remove, it just finds the application and associated files--but it CAN'T remove them for you: You have to click to see the file and then remove it yourself. Some may prefer this, but I noticed another app I have in the background automatically detected that I moved a file from applicaitons to the trash and it prompted me to remove the same amount of data worth of junk files--and could accomplish that in one click. Save your money on this one.

App Cleaner works like a charm. At the click of a button I deleted two apps that were hanging around and I couldn't get rid of. Now they are gone!

All this app does is delete files that inculde the app's name in their filename. It doesn't delete system files or folders... pure trash!

No recent update & no Apple Silicon support

Downloaded the app just to get rid of Google Drive. It left a ton of orphan files on the hard drive and so can not do a clean reinstall of Google Drive.
