Chaldea, an organization tasked with observing Earth's future, has confirmed that human history will be eliminated at 2019. Without warning, the promised future of 2017 disappeared. Why? How? Who? By what means? AD. 2004. A certain provincial town in Japan. For the first time ever, a region that could not be observed appeared. Assuming that this was the cause of humanity’s extinction, Chaldea carried out its sixth experiment - time travel into the past. A forbidden ceremony where they would convert humans into Spiritrons and send them back in time. By intervening in events, they would locate, identify, and destroy the space-time Singularities. The mission classification is an order to protect Humanity: Grand Order. This is the title for those who would take a stand against human history and battle fate in order to protect mankind. Rng isn’t always in your favor but I still like it as a way to pass time as it’s one of the best designed gacha games in my opionion

Overall, I like the game. The battles are fun, and I like the characters. The story is also pretty good. There a lots of events and each character has a story as a piece of history, which makes them all very compelling. The main issues I personally have are the lack of auto battles, atrociously low drop rates, and how the account can’t be binded to anything other than a transfer code. That actually got me when I quit the game a year back. When I wanted to get back into it, it turned out that the game data was gone when I deleted the app, which made me pretty bummed. Fortunately the support team was very cooperative and helped recover the account, which is the main reason my review is 5*. So I would like to compliment the customer support for their help in that time. Anyway I think it would be nice if the account could be binded to an email or something.

I’ve been playing the game on and off for a long time now and have really enjoyed playing. Although I don’t have many 4* or 5* heroes the game is still really great with what I have. My only complaint is the gacha rates, as I only spend on character I love. I saved around 150 saint quartz and about 10 summoning tickets for characters I love. The crazy thing is when the Altria Pendragon banner finally came I spent it all, only to get one 4* character. I’d understand if she wasn’t the only 5* but c’mon she was the only focused character with boosted rates yet I couldn’t get her with $100+ worth of summons. A pity system at the very least would be appreciated .

You get 5 tickets and 6 quartz which is 2 rolls right off the bat. The tutorial roll has a very limited and outdated units which look very clunky compared to the more recent units which are still behind JP by about 4 years.

  • Great Game, Horrible Gatcha

Even though I’m really enjoying this game, it does not deserve above two stars for being a gatcha game with no pity system. This game is predatory— it barely distributes much of its currency, and when it does, the odds of pulling a featured character are low. The story is visual novel based, the battles are turn-based, and the events are thematic— I love these aspects. However, I cannot enjoy myself playing a game where you can spend money and get nothing you want in return. This is probably illegal, and if it’s not illegal yet, it will/should be. Gambling with no pity system has no place in video games.

Story is decent once you get to at least Babylon. Rates are atrocious, don’t bother starting this game now. It’s been 5+ years since its release and it’s more of a money grab now than ever.

I used to have an account, but when I log in on the new device it says it can't be transferred, say it already in use, I hope I can restore my account
