good but needs update for Macos Big Sur. Since the icon visual appearence has been changed. Easy way to add support for new style icon is to implement overall padding. Please consider update while no one added support for Big Sur style icons into their application. Thank you
  • Not for small icon editing

If you have small icons to create or edit (e.g. 100px square), this will not work for you. If you want to generate the full set of iOS finder icon sizes (for example), this tool can do that.

Great little app that packs a lot of useful features for those looking to create their own icons and logos. Two small issues bother me and they are both related to the preview: there is no option to zoom in or out and you cannot drag and drop visual elements like images and text with your mouse. Both can be overlooked but it would be nice if they were fixed in a future update. Otherwise, a great tool for creating unique icon designs.

Works Great. Only think I wish it did was saved the image location also when you save the profile. That would make it easier to go back and edit the icon. That asside great work.

Don’t expect this to be an icon *drawing* program. You have to have the image in PNG format before you start. But it does dress up the icon nicely in a few short steps and it resizes your image into out all those gazillion icon sizes you need for your iOS / macOS program with the press of a button. Granted, you could do the same in ImageMagick in about an hour, but for 5 bucks, this was totally worth it. For actually creating your own icon (for us starving programmers who can’t pay someone to design an icon) I recommend Inkscape. It is free software and it was pretty painless to do, especially if you’re creating a “flat” icon that is reasonably simple. Search on google for “How to draw a flat icon inkscape” (minus the quotes) for a great tutorial on YouTube by youtuber PhotoAdvanced2 that will give you all the skills you need to create a really nice flat icon. It was actually kind of fun.

The application is great, however, it keeps crashing. Other than that I have no complaints.
  • Buggy and lacks features

Wouldn’t say it’s worth 5 dollars. Lots of crashes and could really benfit from just a few more features with the “image” section such as adding more than one image, strecthing and such. Doesn’t need to be photoshop level but something to make it worth the money would be nice. Otherwise there are already many free alternatives out there that do the exact same thing.
  • Great little app!

I whipped out 2 logos in like 10 minutes. Just what I needed at a reasonable price!

Mapaca1, a scam would be someone selling something misepresented. I just downloaded the app and tested it. Nothing misrepresented. If you were expecting some photoshop level app, you should have done your homework or simply look at all of the sample pictures. You can see that it is a very simple app. No ads, so how is this basically a scam? Actually, even though it is simplistic, I find it very useful. The ONLY thing I can say for constructive criticism is that when you export the icons, give us a button to create a new folder please. Kind of like when you save the profile, there is a “New Folder” button in the bottom left corner; otherwise, nice little app. Also, if you aren’t lazy, go to www dot appsliced dot co. You can search for any app and set an alarm to let you know if the app is free or even cheaper and it will only notify you when the app hits your target price. That way, you don’t have to complain about spending 5 bucks...
