I am currently in the process of restoring a bit of land to natural prairie and try to utilize every resource I can to gather information. I just stumbled upon this app moments ago, but after browsing for awhile, I can tell it will be extremely beneficial to my work. Thank you to the developers!

I got this app because I am a kansas native and live in the country. I have always wanted to be able to identify my local plants so I could discover how I could benefit from the land. This app impressed me. The app allows you to select: category, color, petal count, leaf arrangement and habitat. It gives you pictures next to each classification so you could identify the correct category even if you didn't know the correct term. It narrows down the plants based on your sections. Then it shows you all the possible plants it could be, with its name and a picture. It is perfect if you go hiking and find a cool flower you want to identify. One improvement could be more information on each plant. Like its..... Uses (artistic, medicinal, nutritional, watershed, increase pollination, deter deer) Dangers (is it poisonous or does it cause a rash) What animals eat it (do deer like it, will you get more birds if you plant it. Does it deter bugs) Growing conditions (does it need lots of water and sunlight? Does it have to be cross pollinated?)
