Description

Lift Log is the simplest and easiest to use app to track your workouts. From the Developer: I built Lift Log because I was displeased with all the other workout tracking apps on the App Store. Other apps made me input my routine before using the app, create workouts before recording data, and more annoying tasks that forced me to focus on the app more than on my workout. Lift Log is different. Log your sets easily and effortlessly, usually with only two taps. Reference graphs to track your progress over time. Add workouts on the fly, no need to configure anything just start lifting and start logging. Download the app and give it a try, I’m sure you’ll be happy your did. Lift Log is built for both beginners and experts, Lift Log provides everything you need to track your progress and get stronger. Its simple and intuitive design allows you to effortlessly record your workouts as quickly as possible, so you can focus on getting in those extra reps. Features: - Minimalist interface, simpler than any other fitness app on the App Store - Type in any routine and Lift Log remembers it and starts tracking it forever - Graphs show your progress over time Subscription Details: A $7.99 monthly or $59.99 annual subscription is required to access all that Lift Log has to offer. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period at the amount selected. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.

The app suddenly started charging a fee without warning and blocks you from being able to see your log without paying for it.
  • Simple and does the job

It does exactly what I need it to do, no more and no less. If you want to keep track of weight and reps for certain exercises then this is really all you need.

After years of using they updated the app and I can’t see stats anymore which was what I lifted last time

I’ve been using this app for several months now. It’s very simple and easy to use. It does a fantastic job performing as a digital note pad. I do pay for the subscription and hope that one day some of the improvements will be added. First, I do not know what regulates the date and time in this app. If I work out in the morning, and do a second work out in the evening, my evening work out will count as tomorrows work out. So then when I log my work out the following morning, it is listed as the same day as the evening before. This clutters my log and is inaccurate. Would like to see a way to change the date of each work out. Second, this one is less important as the first. A share feature for the daily logged workout would be beneficial for anyone who shares their work with a coach. Screen shots work fine until you put in a high volume day. Multiple screen shots to capture the entire day is annoying. Overall, it’s a solid app, if either of these changes happen I think the app would be nearly perfect. I am happy enough with the app and will continue to use it.
  • Problem - mixes up workouts from yesterday and today it’s less than 24 hours apart

PROBLEM: mixes up lifting yeatwrday with today. E.g. if I lifted yesterday at 5 PM, and then today I left at 11 AM, then it lists both under the same “today” heading with no clue as to which exercises were done yesterday versus today, which is the entire point of the app for me… (so now thinking that if this is not fixed, then I have maybe wasted my money unless I can get a refund) PROBLEM: even after I paid for this app the app developer feedback page in the app does not work.(?) so I can only razor shoes through app reviews here. MINOR: Not sure why all caps is prohibited

Unfortunately there is no app support your directed to Twitter LinkedIn etc. where I have messaged Jake more wishing to cancel my automatic renewal subscription and also inquiring room inquiring about his new app for AI fitness I do not want my payment to be taken out again at the end of my current subscription and I have no way of communicating that or getting a response at this point not sure how Apple allows this to continue
  • No more chart feature!

Latest version got rid of the chart feature which was the main reason I got this app to begin with. Now this app is no different than tons of other apps on the App store :/
  • Absolute dumpster fire

Tried this app because I wanted a quick way to log lifts, and it’s slightly more convenient than a notes app. With no notice it shut down in the middle of a workout, and just shows a paywall for an expensive subscription with no way to even go back and see what I had logged so far. What a complete scam.
