  • Need to Start Typing Instantly

This just needs an option to open app straight to blank page to start typing. I had another app that did this, but it did not sync to icloud or have Splitview. Please allow opening app to edit text, then sort to folder afterward.
  • Was An Awesome App

I used this app daily and then one day I couldn't get it to open. I tried contacting the developer, but got no response. This app is holding my info hostage and it needs an update! :-(

I use Mostnote as a way to collect, organize, and retrieve notes that I take on a continuous basis. The interface is clear, clean, and efficient. Within moments after installing I was doing useful work with the app. I use the GTD (Getting Things Done Method) to keep myself organized. All my notes go into the inbox of Things 3 (another terrific app). The notes that are informational and not todos or appointments get imported into Mostnote. There I organize them by folder and tags. Tags are crucial to retrieving similar notes no matter which folder they are in. I also bring in notes from other apps. Many apps list Mostnote under the "Share" command. Currently I am approaching a hundred notes. At this rate I will go past a thousand in six months. I now use Mostnote on a daily basis. It is true that I experience occasional freezes. As another reviewer observed moving quickly out of the tag list into the note or back and forth has something to do with freezing. I'm sure that this talented developer will clear that up in an update. As development moves forward I would like to see attention paid to the tags. Mostnote will become even more useful when the user can search using multiple tags simultaneously. Also a way to organize tags will become necessary. Once one gets beyond 20 tags it will become cumbersome to scroll through a long list. A way of clustering tags, a tree system or outline approach will be needed. Imagine how tedious scrolling through 100 tags will be - a thousand. So if I could create a category "Animals" and cluster under it cats, dogs, birds, etc; it becomes much easier to work with large amounts of tags. Congratulations on creating a very useful app.
  • A Truly Underrated App

It does tend to freeze a lot but the way to avoid that -- is to (1) not tap the sides too often or (2) tap the tag option and then re click the note immediately since that seems to trigger it. It needs the option to delete or share notes from the outside, without having to open them first; most times that I need to delete notes it's because I've probably imported too many pictures and the note itself cannot open that much data at once, so it just crashes the app while attempting to open it. Which is a problem since I can't go back and edit the note to downsize it -- which leads to irretrievable note text & storage space that I can't get back. Not unless I delete the app altogether and start over but then there goes all of my other notes. I purchased the pro version and just expected better "flexible storage management" since you never know when enough data is too much data for one note; it seems to vary especially when using gifs... just a simple share or delete option from outside the note is all I need. I love everything else about this app. ---------Update:: Apparently once I deleted & then reinstalled the app, all my notes reappeared within minutes & I was able to once again access my inaccessible notes. Then I was able to downsize/delete them. So no worries. Great app!

Evernote quality note app without the bloat. :) It does tend to freeze on me, but I'm sure that'll be fixed in later versions.
