Work great, and the range on these things is insane, there’s a eero in my dad’s shop about 100 feet away from the main eero gateway in the house and it works incredibly well. My one problem is that sometimes download and upload speeds tend to go quite random with the eero, and the eero doesn’t have but one Ethernet port on the back of it, I also wish I could set priorities for devices through the app. Other than that these things are pretty nice, good for larger houses with some dead spots!

I called customer service and spoke to Henry, and she was fantastic! Took her time answering all my questions and walking me through my setup issues. This only took a few seconds but she stayed on the line to make sure all of my equipment was setup properly. Fantastic experience. I for sure will tell others about this product and services. -Crystal M.
  • Inaccurate speed report

I went to different websites which offers fiber optic speed check. The most I could get is a little over 300Mbps download and about 174Mbps upload out of 1Gbps as Eero proudly shows in their app, “Your internet speed is ultra fast” at 1.02 download and 1.01 upload. It’s a scam! I’m glad I haven’t drop my current internet provider.

To debug a network, the network has to be online. Funny. One star.
  • Easiest setup yet!

eero devices are bricks if they can’t talk to the cloud. I just tried to use one to create a LAN for some concert equipment but it just showed me a red light. pretty useless. the definition of subscription based devices. what a waste. only not rating it a single star because the app is usable. but why does it have to be on my phone. also why does my eero device burn my hands when I touch it

Owned by Amazon. Need I say more? Perhaps you don’t care. Hey, we all have a choice. eero devices are ridiculously basic. You don’t get full control over your device. Want access to advanced settings? Nope! eero offers the very basic of basic. The Fisher Price of wireless hardware. Performance is just below average. Nothing fancy or worth spending money on. Garbage. 🗑️

To say I’m impressed would not quite be right. I bought the system because I have poor internet receptivity in my bedroom, with my set up in my living room. The first time I tried to set it up, I couldn’t get it to work and was unable to find anyway to talk to a real person about my problem. When you go to the ask for help section on line, it gives you a list of option questions and pre scripted answers. The website shows beautiful people with headsets on talking to people on the phone…. I could find no place on the website it be able to discuss my problem. 3 months later. It’s a new day and I have had the internet people out to work on my tv and internet. Everything looks great. It’s time to try and connect my eero again. After much effort and getting no recognition of my eero online. I once again check the website and whamo… still no one to talk to. After controlling my deep desire to place the entire unit in a fire pit and dance around while it burns, I remembered I paid $200 for it at Best Buy. So I tried one more time, but this time I said a prayer before I started….. unbelievable it connected. So now it’s time to set up my bedroom….. get ready….. because everything goes great…. It’s set up…. And then I get a message that I need to move it closer to the main unit because there is probably a wall blocking my signal. What did I pay $200 for….. Thanks eero, you solved my problem completely…NOT DON M FROM TEXAS
