    Been using this app for 8 years I believe. Logged in today to do my measurements and compare my progress. All my measurements are now gone!!! Went online to their we website and they are saved there but. It downloading to the app?
  • Helps to get started.

    I always thought it started with hitting the gym more or getting more active.. which it does. However; having someone help me figure out my macro nutrients (clueless as to even what this was...) and how they should compare to my goal(gaining weight in muscle), WAS MONUMENTAL. Fitness pal is an easy way to keep track of those numbers, and all of a sudden I'm having more success with getting into a routine. Where as before, working out and getting fit meant trying to get in the habit for a week and then taking a four month break only to do the same thing again. All over the course of 4 years or so... Honestly, it just helps to have it all written down and at your finger tips, even if it's just to be only a little healthier. Or maybe to get crazy and start body building! Whatever you want. 🤷‍♀️

  • Started crashing

    I've been using this app for a long time and love the app, however with the most recent version it's become very unstable, slow to respond and frequently crashes and returns me to the home screen. I hope this can be fixed very soon. It's very frustrating when trying to enter food items in the diary and it crashes while searching, causing me to start all over. Update- after iOS 11 and recent updates the crashing is worse. Can’t add a recipe without a crash. Frequently crashes while adding meals.

  • Keeps Me on Track!!

    I have used MFP off and on for the past two years - but as of this past April and my recent engagement I have become much more committed to logging in and keeping track of my calories and nutrients. I love when I get little notifications (You have a 65 day login streak - keep it up!) and the articles and recipes on the main feed are great. I have an active job so in the past I would over eat, thinking that I burned more calories than I had because of the physicality of my job but MFP has helped me to get a better understanding of my actual activity levels and how much I am consuming. I love MFP and appreciate what it is doing for me. Finding the right foods can be frustrating at times and it does take dedication to log all your food, but if you truly want to get healthy this is a great tool to help you do so!

    I'm finally reviewing this app because of what happened when I entered too few calories--I was advised that I would not receive the usual weight 5-week weight projection and what the National Health Institute recommends for a healthy set of calories for weight loss. I had an oral surgery that day, so I was sleeping for recovery instead of eating. But I really appreciated MyFitnessPal's approach to help curb dangerous eating habits. Also, the app itself is really awesome! The ease of making recipes, searching for existing foods, and also the entertaining homepage blog has kept me tracking my food for 30 days, and I've lost 4 pounds! To me, these are permanent pounds lost, so I think a slow and steady has worked very well for me. Thank you to the makers of this app, and all the people who put work into it!
