  • Poor support for IOS devices

I have found this app to be useful for exchanging large quantities and sizes of files/photos with other users. The support on my IOS devices is limited, kludgy, unreliable and complex. I do use the app a lot, but my main requirement to provide a secondary backup of various camera rolls does not work. By uploading files as photos, I lose the original file name and other attributes. If I try to upload them as files, I am limited to one at a time. If I use Dropbox with Apple’s Files app, I am limited to less than 50 at a time and I must double check the results for duplicates (files copied twice).

Mostly use to editing Excel spreadsheets on the fly, but also love grid view for PDFs, you can switch between seeing all pages or just those that are annotated.
  • Good App, but needs a Recycle Bin option.

Dropbox is a good app, but needs to add a Recycle Bin function. Most all other cloud drives provide a Recycle Bin right within their apps, in order to view/delete/restore data without having to go online to do it. Thank you.
  • Garbage

One of the most useless and aggravating apps ever. Combined with Apple’s over-the-top security, this is a waste of code.
  • Recent update has gone backwards

Never had many issues with this app, until this most recent update (cheers for the need for constant change👎). I use it mostly to play MP3s of music, audiobooks and Podcasts but now it fails to load these files maybe 4 out of 5 times. It will also randomly stop playing the files - no rhyme or reason. Can we just stop with the unending changes and updates?
  • So disappointed

I used to love Dropbox and rave about it to everyone. However, recently my iPad was reloaded and the app forced my to delete almost all of my devices just to access my documents. Now I can no longer access it from my iphone or use the app. I have to log into the webpage. Rendering the app completely unusable for me. I'm thinking about just putting everything on iCloud now. I feel a little like Dropbox is trying to take advantage of me.

I dont use cloud storage a lot, and i thought the 2gb free account was more than enough for my personal needs, such as syncing some files betwen as many computers or devices as I wanted. ( a few apps i use requires dropbox in order to sync.) A few months ago I broke iphone and although I had a mac local backup, i decided to just start fresh. When the time came to access a few files I desperately needed on my mobile device, i re-downloaded it on my new iphone, logged in, and im told that to add my device I needed to remove 6 devices from my account!!? What?! I went to google and found out Dropbox no longer allows free accounts to sync as many devices and will only sync 3. I was bummed, upset because I did not get a warning within the app. Something like “WARNING, adding this device will make your account obsolete and just allow you to sync 3 devices” I would have opted not to activate sync on the new device, but i would have kept all my devices synced. NO, nothing. By me just logging in, it automatically switched my accout. This is a very bad practice. So now im looking for other syncing alternatives.
