I like this game a lot. The new season is out and it restarted everything. I was kinda mad about but then I realized that you could use your old team in a live event. I also like the beats in the game. Like it says in the title this game is super dope.

Before I go into my rant about how poor my experience has been since the last big update, I’d like to say that this was a game that was worth enjoying and spending time into. NBA live was a game that allowed the user to freely play under balanced circumstances that gave much more control over how the game could be played. I’ve spent weeks upon weeks in anticipation for the next “big update” after EA reset the game. However, at this point in time, I felt more disappointment than satisfaction. After several weeks (including some delay to provide the best gameplay) NBA live finally releases their product- one completely inferior to its own preceding version. Of course, all the lineup and coaching changes were interesting, but they were severely incomplete in the sense that “team chemistry” and “good coaching” seemed very limited. The bench was virtually useless. Gameplay was challenging, but it was fun for the first week or two while I built my team. However, this is where I gave up. No matter how good my team is, I can never seem to get any of my players to properly play the man-to-man defense that my coach’s style puts forth. Even if it was some other type of defensive strategy, my players would clearly abandon their own assignment to play help defense when it was clearly not needed. As a result, there would frequently be a defensive breakdown or my team would foul the other team (they still haven’t fixed that huh). Playing on the offensive end is always fun, and I found the +20% on the shot meter very interesting. Unfortunately, it was also very useless as the defense only needed to stand five feet away and raise one hand up without jumping in order to “contest my shot”. I had my 83 OVR Giannis miss several dunks (how in the world does a Basketball player miss dunks on a normal basis?!); it seemed that dunking was even harder than getting a 90 OVR! Step back shots and height advantage are still virtually none existent despite the amount of time and effort EA put into revamping the game. There are still a number of problems that could be encountered by simply playing 1 quarter of gameplay. The auction house is extremely difficult to use with the 20% cut as EA’s best “hint” to winning more games is to “buy better players”... What the heck EA? You’re telling me that my team full of elites that correspond to a decent coach isn’t good enough? The only way I can win on defense is by holding down a singular button and hope upon my players’ 73+ defensive stats will stop the opponent from passing the ball around to shave off time from the clock? Must I pray upon my 86 OVR Carmelo’s 82 midrange shooting (his stats don’t even add up to an 86 OVR) with no players within a five feet radius every time I need to make a shot? Do I have to cross my fingers every time I need to pass the ball? In order to win, I need to spend money to get they very best players and still have to depend on luck in a game of skill. I give up. This game has degraded from in requiring some meticulous grinding and skillful playing to one of plain luck.

Constant problems loading, glitches in gameplay, and the fact that this game is based around how much money you spend make the rating 0 stars. With this being an EA game, all they care about is money. You get badges for money spent. The app cannot keep up with the live events and special promos. Can't even play the game and I've had money missing from my account for over a year. As for the update, the game is now uglier than ever, and more costly. Can't spend more money on a game when the live events are awful and repetitive, my money disappears, and Elite OVR players aren't any better than silver or gold. ADDED: 11/20- unlocked a Shaq 82 OVR and never received the player, been waiting for what I earned for a few days and this is the norm, part of the glitches and the overall ripoff experience from EA
  • Awesome game, but could be better

Some thing that would be awesome would be allowing people to trade players. I love the game, but adding that would be the best experience ever. XD
  • Worst update ever!!

They updated the app and its worst then before. It doesn’t work most of the time and you can’t login, it took all my old players away that took me all year to get and now can’t use them, the control of the players is horrible, shooting isn’t accurate as it suppose to be...to many things to list. The new update was supposed to be better and they made it horrible, I don’t wanna play anymore!

Keeps me entertained without feeling like I need to spend money to be competitive. Wish my Scottie Pippen wasn’t 10” shorter than real life though.
