I have used this app since before the pandemic. I have adventures solo with my 3 kids in new mountain bike systems to finding local scenes when traveling international to mountain bike. I love the trail descriptions to know what to expect for my diversely skilled posse and I love viewing the pictures to know how to hit scenic routes when spending limited time in new areas. I recommend this app to EVERYONE interested in outdoor recreation and new adventures in unfamiliar areas!!!

The best way to not get lost is to have a map. A map that doesn’t require cell signal, a map that shows you where you are. Trailforks mail it! Also, the same trails are fun and all but exploring is why I love mountain biking and gravel. Trailforks does great also letting you know whose land you’re on whether private, city, state, or type of federal land you’re on. Another super cool feature is showing you if this is land that a particular native tribe or nation held. It’s one thing to ride an area it’s another to explore and find things like petroglyphs on the trail. Pretty cool.

Locked behind a paywall. For awhile trail forks was my go to, the days of unlimited searching and adventuring, then one day we got limited to a small small box region that locked once we picked it, then just like that, I can even see the elevation gain, popularity in trail, anything. Completely useless. I’ll continue to use the browser mode for unlimited access. Cheers. Don’t change it

Decent app, but they really need to add Apple Watch support. I can’t see myself paying for premium if I have to buy another third party watch.

How is there no Apple Watch support for this app. Don’t get me wrong I don’t know what it would take to port it but it seems like they’re missing an entire market sector especially for the premium to use.
