Description

Millions of people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATING, FRIENDS & NETWORKING Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: - Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. - Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. - Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use, and that will never change for our main features. However, if you’re looking to get the most from Bumble, you can subscribe to our optional subscription product Bumble Boost. We offer weekly, monthly, 3 month and 6 month subscriptions giving discounts to the weekly price. The prices may vary per country and are subject to change without notice. It won’t allow me to create an account, saying i need to be “18 years or over”. Thing is though, i’m 19 and still can’t make an account. i don’t really care tbh but it’s just annoying. i’ve deleted and re downloaded this app before, like months ago and recently, and still get the same issue. I even made accounts using different numbers and emails and still get my account deleted. It’s annoying. fix it.

I am not one to write reviews, but after re-downloading the app after being off of it, it seems like a lot has changed. The subscriptions are so much money, and now you have to pay to be in “travel mode?” I miss being able to update my location to show people in the area I am currently at. Deleting again, it’s not worth it

Apps great, but this recent update won’t let me update the app or log in at all. The logo is the only thing that you see, when you click on it.
  • Okay app

I was banned from this a year ago. Someone on the app reported my account out of spite and I reached out to support with no answers. I was respectful on the app and had a clean profile. Had one great date in real life so I’m grateful for that. Otherwise I recommend you don’t waste your money on the upgrades. Hinge rocks.

  • It will destroy you

You will swipe for months, you might get two matches. They won’t message you and they will expire. The app only wants to take your money to exploit your vulnerabilities and insecurities. If you want to completely destroy your self-esteem this is how.
  • Just another dating app that treats women like commodities and men like cash cows

Unless you’re a 6’5 chad, you won’t get any likes.
  • Unwelcoming customer service and support.

As someone that spent the majority of their time on Bumble using the premium version I loved it. I went on multiple dates and met multiple people. However this morning I woke up and found that my account was banned. I was very much put off by this because on bumble women message first, I had been invited by bumble to use a feature in beta, at the time was a Premium member, and was not rude or vulgar to other users on the platform. After contacting support, I was greeted with a message saying that my account is permanently banned with no option to appeal the decision or receive a timed ban instead of a permanent one. With no customer service number, users are left to only talk to support via an email which seems automated to shut down the user and to not fix their issue. Bumbles goal isn't to help its users it's to squander them.
  • So so. Women first messaging is pointless.

It is a completely pointless feature that women must send the first message. What does it accomplish really? If a woman matches with you then obviously there is at least some level of mutual interest and openness to communicate with that person. That’s whole point of matching, what more do you need? Why the added game of wait for the woman to msg? The women message first feature is just a childish game. How about just let people (women!) *decide for themselves* if they want to message first or wait to be messaged rather than dictating how it should happen? I truly cannot understand the purpose or advantage of it. Also there should be more options in the filters. If you’re truly just interested in matching people then do not waste their time by making them swipe through tons of people that they will never be interested in and could simply be filtered out. It is simply inefficient not to offer this. Everyone has their preferences and there is nothing wrong with that, and I’m sure most people would use additional filters to narrow the results. Again, let people decide for themselves.
  • Ideas for app improvement!!!

I can’t specify my religiousness correctly, so basically I’m an Agnostic Catholic Theist (I believe in a god, but think the bible is just parables). There is no specific option for this so I get lumped in with non-theists, so I’m hoping bringing this up might help with development. Also side note, if I have my dating distance set to 5 miles (and I didn’t make it a dealbreaker for people living further), I’d much rather see incrementally longer distances than someone 36 miles from me after going through the 5 miles! So in short I’d rather see people closer to 5 miles, then 10 miles, then 15 miles and so on!!!
