Description

Millions of people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. And now, we’ve been named one of Apple’s 2021 Apps of the Year for connection. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATING, FRIENDS & NETWORKING Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: - Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. - Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. - Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use. However, we also offer optional subscription packages (Bumble Premium and Bumble Boost) and single or multiple-use paid services for which no subscription is required (including Spotlights and SuperSwipes). We offer weekly, monthly, 3 month and 6 month subscriptions giving discounts to the weekly price. The prices may vary per country and are subject to change without notice. • Terrible algorithm for men

The app promotes your page when you first sign up and then puts you in the back row a few days after that. Seemingly this is to incentivize you to buy their services. It’s not integral to dating, only to make money.

I’ve never been so disappointed! I got suspended/blocked and lost all my messages! I have not done anything to violate Bumble’s Policy. When I created a new account I had no matches with 72 hours. I’m very frustrated this was the one app that I used. Please help me figure out a solution. Update: bumble responded so I tried to contact them and I got no response. This is ridiculous. Twitter and the bumble email are not enough. Please get back to me. *another update I got a very generic “thanks for your feedback” response with no follow up on how to fix my problem. I’m very disappointed. I’m asking for a solution and I’m being ignored. I really just wanted to speak with a representative Another update: Thought I was going to write a success story after all this drama but he turned out to be a man seeking out nothing but trouble. Bumble do better and get back to me. I’m unable to log in or create an account. This is quite frustrating. This is the only app I feel safe using now and the fact I can’t even create a new account is really discouraging.

Real advice, don’t waste time or money on bumble or any dating apps . All you will meet are troubled guys who are emotionally unstable people who are liars, con artists that are either married or already have a girlfriend. Worse, every guy on there is looking for a quick hookup because they are 40 + and been married 20 years and can’t “commit” because they just got out of a LTR. They also don’t weed out matches that show up as couples trying to look for a partner. Bumble does nothing to weed these low lives off their app. My last straw was getting a warning for being wrongly accused of selling things—all likely because some bitter guy on there wasn’t happy that I rejected him and he reported me on some made up accusations. Bumble refused to provide proof of these accusations and instead harasses me with emails threatening to cancel my profile when I was clearly wrongly accused, as if they’re app was anything to rave about . So ladies , do yourself a favor and work on yourself, creating a better you is the only way to attract quality men to you in real life , not off these apps that don’t care about anyone or their safety .
  • Pushy towards payments, no matches

I’ve been on and off bumble for a few months now, and after my 10 free swipes right, I have to wait a day to do it again. The issue here is that I have had 1 match in these several months, and even then that user didn’t message and disappeared. I’ve built a profile with the help of some close friends who have had some luck on this app, but I have gotten absolutely nothing for it, which makes me want to pay for the app even less. Why do I need to pay to get even one match?
  • Poor customer service, a waste

I’ve been using Bumble a year, I’ve met one person. The service is terrible. The ads are filled with people promoting social media, but they don’t appear to be filtered. Men constantly post as women, it gets old. A new feature came out called compliments. I had a total of four women respond, and I received a notification I received a message. How ever, there is no message, it’s literally opening up an email with a subject and no message. Support will claim they blocked me, were banned or deleted their profile, but I can still see their profile. It doesn’t ad up, as anyone knows of any of those three criteria are met, you can no longer see that users profile. One customer rep told me it was a glitch, when I replied back they send what appears to be a copy and paste reply and ignore basically the issue you’re having. They will tell you there’s more users joining, your profile is working and keep trying. You then have to email them again. I’ve sent several message and I have not received any replies, it appears they have turned off my support function for sending multiple messages on a time sensitive issue that they deny exists. Even if you buy super swipes, if a free user can only swipe so many people, what good is your swipe? I feel the app would be better if it wasn’t for the pricey ads on, better moderation of fake profiles or real profiles with the intent of just promoting social media. The app to me, I feel makes money of off peoples misery.
  • You have to pay for basic things

You basically have to pay for everything! Even the likes you get, you can’t see them until you pay for it. I think Hinge is better if you really wanna find someone, Bumble is all about money.

If you’re going to promote your “FREE” dating app, at least be honest with your customers. I’m not paying almost $25 a week for any app!

I used a few apps…Facebook dating, Bumble, and similar companies to find as a women, Bumble gives me a level of comfort and allows me to pace my interactions as I choose. I absolutely hate getting hundreds of messages from others who are interested when I haven’t even had time to look through any of the profiles. I don’t live on my phone. Bumble puts the pace in my hands and changes the “conventional” way of dating online.
