    I used to use this application ages ago, and while I haven’t in the last year, they still charged me an annual fee without ever reminding or prompting me. Will not being using again.

    Every time I see something creative that I might like to try, I turn to Skillshare and find a class that will show me how. I have learned a lot from Skillshare and recommend using it as a way to try out different crafts, techniques, and other creative endeavors.

    The customer service is horrible. Unlike many other streaming providers you pay for a year in advance and even when you try to cancel the day it renews there is no refund. All the warning emails about renewal went straight to spam so I had no idea. Clearly they don’t care. They cater to those with ADHD and take full advantage of that.

    Signed me up for a yearly subscription and i never used this app…….. they withdrew 3 times meaning 3 YEARS $167!!!! It was on a credit card so i never noticed. 🤬🤬🤬

  • Useless trial period, poor support

    I signed up for a Skillshare 7-day free trial, but was locked out of my account after watching only a single short course. A multi-day series of email exchanges with Skillshare Support led me to “Trust & Safety,” who indicated that I was locked out for “routine fraud check” (?). I did not wish to have my credit card charged for a service I could not access, so I requested that my trial account be closed, with confirmation by email. That process required more waiting, more emailing and form-filing. Bottom line: Skillshare’s faulty trial period and customer service process reduced the value of its offerings to zero and wasted my time.
