NOTE: You need to have RMS for individuals or an RMS enabled Office 365 account to use Microsoft Rights Management sharing application (RMS sharing app). You can register at https://portal.aadrm.com. You cannot use Microsoft Account (Live, Hotmail or Outlook.com) account to sign in. RMS sharing app enables you to view protected files that others have shared with you (.ppdf, .ptxt, .pxml, .pjpg, .pjpeg, .ppng, .ptiff, .pgif, .pbmp, and .pfile file extensions). RMS sharing app lets you breathe easy knowing your files are safe and can only be opened by users you trust and share with.

    One of the worst applications I've ever had the misfortune of using. If you are an organization considering switching to using RMS, dont. It just breaks everything.

    Can't open the app on my mac, it all ways defaults to trash, and thats what this app is trash.

    I'm unable to open the Azure RMS App after installing on my Mac. Moreover, I cannot open the .rpmsg file that I am trying to open with this Azure RMS. This is a huge hindrance to me and will have to ask the medical office to send me a paper letter as a result.

    I think this is best summed up with the following message error format I get: "The document “message[24].rpmsg” could not be opened. RMS Sharing cannot open files in the “RMS_sharing Document” format."

  • Difficult to understand or use

    Was not able to open an encrypted email from work, there are no available settings to adjust or verify and no apparent work arounds.

    Forced to try it when a client sent a .rpmsg file. After very tedious download, the system refused to recognize the file type. I even manually changed the associated opening program and still the app refused to open the file. Literally useless.
