Description

This is a clock app that re-creates the behavior of a vintage flip clock with a modern and minimal design. On Mac, Fliqlo has long been popular as a screensaver module with the same design since its first release in 2002, and this iOS/iPadOS app is also made with exactly the same design. With its large, highly visible font, you can check the time even from a distance. Also, in everyday life and at work, its modest matt black presence does not distract you or disrupt your productivity, even when using the app for extended periods of time. Its full-screen appearance integrates with the iPhone/iPad device body and blends into your living space ambience, as if it were a minimalist home decor item. FEATURES: - Switch between 12/24 hour clock - Switch between portrait and landscape mode - Option to show seconds when tapping screen - Brightness/dimness control inside the app - Show/hide background tiles - Enlarge/reduce to any size NOTES: - Your device’s Auto-Lock is disabled while this clock is active in the foreground. - This app does not start automatically like the Mac screensaver. - You cannot replace your device’s Lock Screen with this clock.

Really nice app with a very cool and minimalistic feel. Love using it on long airplanes when I can just look and see what the time is. Only thing that’s pulling it away from a five stars is that there’s not that many uses in everyday life(at least my to me). One way to fix this is to add a widget feature so you can see the black and minimal clock on your screen. I would truly love if this would happen.
  • Please add widgets

I absolutely love this as a screensaver on my desktop but I feel like on mobile it would be more useful as homescreen widgets, now that iOS/iPadOS and even macOS has them.
  • It’s a basic clock app with no customizability

It’s literally just a one-font clock, that is an open app so you have to be charging while using, zero custom availability (can’t change font, background, colors, even when you want the seconds displayed they appear in a very small corner at the bottom of the screen and then disappear within 2-3 seconds until you touch the screen again). For a paid app even at this price, the free alternative's AKA the Devs competitors crush them an every aspect. I’d download it if it were free but I’d never pay for it. Hindsight is 20-20.
  • I have this screensaver on nearly all my devices.

I love the simplicity of this clock and I have used it for years on multiple devices. I was so excited to finally get a phone with the always on screen so that I could utilize this app better. Very happy so far. My only suggestion would be, if possible, have the clock automatically rotate with my phone’s orientation, regardless of whether or not I have the orientation lock on. I might be alone in that request lol

I don’t remember anymore how many years I’ve used Fliqlo but it’s one of the first apps I install when I get a new Mac or iPad or iPhone. When I’m working and I need to keep track of time, I just launch this app. Simple, elegant, functional. It does just one thing, but it does it really well.

This is a great app if you need to see the time from the moon.

I love the clock I use at work, one constructive opinion is that it would be nice to add the date.

Wanted this as Lock Screen. Didn’t see it in the description.
