This app is unable to start since last macOS update (10.15.4 - 19E234g). Programmers should look up for a bug that's keeping it from correctly working. Thanks.
  • Pretty good with some cross-platform issues.

I inherited a Mac desktop with Microsoft 365 installed. I work primarily in the field with a PC laptop and needed a way to keep my files updated. For the most part, everything works fine. There are some issues that don’t work the same on my alptop as on my desktop, such as, moving files from one folder to another and some Office functionalities. Outside of those, One Drive allows me to keep everything synced at the office, on the road, or at home. I really like the phone app for quick reference anywhere!

Although apple gives you 2TB (subscription), this includes the office suite (subscription) and the ability to search content online especially if you scan and ocr many documents and forget to rename them. Apple iCloud does not give you the ability to search the content of cloud documents. Additionally, Apple just added the ability to upload documents to cloud willingly to save space where ONeDrive had this feature for a while. The only culprit is you have to confine to windows naming rules. No special characters or your sync will stop for errors.

Having office 365, this is needed. However, OneDrive still needs a lot of work from performance prospective. Dear Microsoft, there are a lot of alternative on MAC so you better hurry up fixing this...
  • avoid if you have a mac

Onedrive works great on my android phone and i pay for their service. On my mac it is beyond aggravating. It's constantly updating and files take minutes to open, if they open, even with a 200Mb internet connection. Files do not merge properly and data is often lost. there are tons of room for improvement, try again in 5 years, maybe they'll fix it or apple will stop restricting Microsoft from having decent apps on a mac
  • Horrible syncing - slow and buggy

Sorry, this is not ready for prime time. If you intend to rely on it or your time is worth anythiing to you, don’t use this app. Horrible at syncing — slow, slow, slow. And buggy — creating many errors and jams in the appl

I can't believe the headaches we have had with this recent update(s) over the past few months. Synching STOPS completely because of problems reported in the .temporary folder, and other hidden folders. Files On Demand feature won't turn on, etc. Have uninstalled, gotten rid of the system files for OneDrive, Reset via the instructions going into the Content Package, etc. I have finally been worn down to the point that I am willing to pay for Dropbox suscription again. My wife is the only one wanting to use Word so why pay for a whole Office 365 subscription?
  • Works but overloading CPU

If sync is running pushes CPU over 100% and causes fans to run constantly. Need to turn off on demand syncing to remedy problem (which is the whole point of syncing files). Please update!
