This app is an absolute waste of time. First off they give you a two week free trial that you should cancel immediately or you’re going to be ridiculously overcharged for a service that is not worth it. Second once the trial is over you lose access to 95% of the app. Finally they change the entire layout of the app once your trial is over so that it’s harder to navigate and enter your meals and keep track which is the purpose of the app. You’d think with the market being so competitive with all these diets out there and all these crazy apps that say they can make you skinny in three months they’d try a little harder to keep you coming back but no they’re all the same they just want a quick cash grab and hopefully you’ll be back next year around New Year’s.

I used Noom for about 6 months and reached my goal in this time. It really helped me to change the way I view food and I was able to lose the weight in a healthy way. The lessons I learned still stick with me a year later and I haven’t bounced back to my original weight since deleting the app. It’s easy to navigate and I like the lessons. Highly recommend for people who want to lose weight and maintain their weight loss.
  • Great app

I love that I can check off so many things each day - water, reading, weight, etc. I like the groups/teams…having peers to talk with is helpful. The only thing I would change is being able to log more than one meal and finish out the day without having to go in and out, in and out of the food logging section. There is an option for “done logging breakfast” or “log more” but no option to add another meal without leaving and coming back.
  • Good program

The program is good and I think if you stick to it it can really work. I have a problem with the app itself. They add new features to the app but my app never updates. I’ve tried deleting it and reinstalling but every time I sign back in, it’s the old (2 versions ago) app. I’ve been waiting for some of the new features and now that they’ve been added to the app it’s frustrating that I don't get to use them. Customer service said I had to delete the app entirely, wait a week, then resign up, and start over, losing all my data. UPDATE: Heard back from customer service and was told again that the only way to get the app to update is to quit the program and wait seven days to re sign up and lose all previous data. I’m so disappointed to have no answers and to have paid for a diet app for so long just to lose a year and a half of data. I’m not going to continue to pay for a program that wants me to start completely over after so long.

  • Eating disorders aren’t overcome from reading one article

    By KGmarHer
Platform and articles are good. However at the end of the first group of lessons/ days, the article said I have “overcome” different things. A person doesn’t overcome from reading one article or they wouldn’t need Noom!
  • Go to therapy first

If you need this alp because you ate such a lazy person who can’t control yourself and understand that a bag of salad is better than a bag of chips than you are a paycopath and need to go to therapy first. Thank god i only used the trial as it would have been such a waste of money
