  • Latest version of iOS app is buggy!

The iOS app had been working fairly well, but the latest version is VERY buggy! Doesn’t give you coins, doesn’t keep track of logged items and other problems. I’ve repeatedly contacted NOOM and the only response I get is delete and reinstall the app.

For individuals who already have healthy eating habits the program is not as effective. Some of the reading has been informative. As an older person, I was told I needed to eat more lean protein and why. But, the program does not provide a nutritional analysis, daily recording of the protein grams I’ve eaten. I also feel it should be recoding nightly sleep quality like it does mood and stress. Sleep, or lack thereof, has a greater impact for me than my mood. I am not a stress eater! Finally, not everyone wants to share their journey with others and being asked to do so multiple times is annoying. I will continue with the program a little longer since recording your calories is helpful.

The ap works good, some foods in the logging library are suspect, this part needs better administration oversight. Sharing save dishes would be a great feature to ad. Overall you seem to learn the psychological influences of your eating habits, how to recognize and change them, and what foods are more beneficial to eat for loosing weight. Feels like it could be a life changing ap. We’ll see….
  • Effective but frustrating

Doesn’t automatically sync Workouts data from Apple Health. Astonishingly, doesn’t automatically allow you to concern food portions - oz, cups, ML, tsp, tbsp. That’s basic math. Why do I have to open the calculator app and do the conversions myself?
  • Deleted my old review because I told the truth

This company cares only about one thing, keeping your money. I asked for a refund within 14 days of their auto-renewal on my credit card and they won’t refund me. $159 out of the blue, when I’m already struggling with $2,000 of my own debt. They do not care, upper management did not care, no refund was issue, so this review is their based off of customer services actions, or lack their of.
  • Healthy principals=healthy weight

I have been using Noom for almost a month, and I have lost 9 pounds. I’m pretty healthy already, but after Covid then the onset of menopause about 25 extra pounds had crept up on me! It’s tough to lose 20-25 pounds when you’re not really that bad off. I knew the weight would keep adding on unless I regained awareness of my health and food intake. Noom helps me monitor my calorie budget and gives a weight loss range. It is not a “diet.” It is lifestyle change. Working great for me! Thank you.
  • App never opened

I took the time to answer the questions thoughtfully, and signed up for a trial, and when I opened the app, it just made me start over again, answering the questions. Even though I had a number and everything that continue to do that every single time. I deleted the app, and tried it over and over again. I give up I want those two hours back.

With Noom, you log your food and weight daily. Noom also has lessons that teach you how you can avoid the pitfalls that keep you from losing weight.
  • Not Worth

Not worth it. App doesn’t have good prompts. Better off just using GLP-1s or working with actual nutritionist in person. Wait times to get feedback on questions through the app is 48+ hours in some cases which defeats the point of the app. The mental incentives to exercise and / or eat healthy don’t work. I’ve lost weight just using a real person at my gym and local nutritionist.
