    I have very few apps on my Apple TV boxes (3). Over a four years of Apple TV, NBC Sports is the only app that has problems. The majority of the time, it opens to a black screen and never loads. I have to open the app multiple times, maybe restart once or twice, and it might work. Sometimes I give up. Once or if it works, the selected stream will sometimes open, try to load a few seconds, and return to the selection screen. I have tried deleted and reinstalled multiple times as well as wiping the device and starting over. I have no internet connectivity issues and always have the device software up to date. I would delete it all together, but it's usually the only way to watch Arsenal on replay on the day of the match. They're doing well so they usually are not on Peacock. Further, when the app does work, the layout spoils the matches often. The home page, in order, lists live shows, then highlights and news, then replays. Every time I go to watch a replay, the news/highlights list spoils the result. Even ignoring the text, the thumbnails give away the result. Did a team lose? Photo of a couple of players walking dejectedly. Did a team win? Close up of celebrations. Paramount and ESPN do such a better job of protecting spoilers for viewers watching replays of sporting events. Unfortunately there's no alternative for Premier League matches unless I accept watching the match the next day (which means avoiding spoilers even longer.)

  • New update drains my battery

    I normally love this app for the Premier League, but the latest update is killing me. Today while watching my battery drained extremely fast and my phone was extremely hot. Please fix this.

    The app constantly signs me out, it crashes, and it’s all around one of the worst user experiences I’ve ever had, but unfortunately I need it to watch the premier league…very annoying.

    Also has no option to save favorites like teams, etc. Can't watch it long enough to see how the rest works because it makes my phone very hot and destroys the battery. Needs fixed

    NBC forces you to watch on the App for certain sporting events games and then has substantial lag. The app is typically a few minutes delayed and meanwhile other apps provide realtime updates.

    Pay the monthly subscription, which is fair everybody does that. Turned on a live sports game, but had to wait through a commercial before it started missing some of this live game. i’ve already paid my subscription. And the very first thing the app does when I turn it on as play a commercial. Not the content I pay for at all. Can I have some of my subscription money back please?

  • Premiere League Fan that hates NBC

    I should love NBC because they own the rights to the premiere league, but it makes me so extremely frustrated how they split up the games between peacock, nbcsports, and sometimes even TNT and universal. And then even with a YouTube tv subscription I sometimes can’t watch the game on NBC Sports app because it fails to correctly link to my provider. I sincerely hope that NBC loses the rights to the premiere league, they are the only company capable of ruining the beautiful game. Have never written an online review of anything, just detest NBC that much for nickel and diming me to pay for multiple forms of subscription and then providing a subpar product. Currently missing the Manchester United Liverpool game because of their terrible app. Would give 0 stars if I could.

    Impossible to know which Premier League games you will be able to watch. Always changing, unclear, be ready to think you will be able to watch some very interesting matches to learn you cannot because they want you to be on cable. It is 2023! Who has cable?
