    All day I was not able to check into my flight. For a major airline to be down all day is 3rd world. From a million miler.

    Shame as it was a descent app but developers appear to have dropped support for iPhone 8+ which is limited to iOS 16.7.7. Trying to keep older phones out of landfills. Be nice is they still supported older iOS like all other developers.

    United treated my luggage very poorly. Worse I’ve ever seen. Damaged my luggage. The flight to Destination had no tv nor any internet. Very bad experience.

    The on line version and iPhone app both make make it very difficult to get a mobile boarding pass.

    Are all United app updates mission critical to patch flaws or new must have features? Probably not. But we are forced to update almost every week before we can “use” the app to book a flight. Imagine you need to have new tires or seat belts or an oil change every time you drive your car. If they can’t get it right the first dozen times there is clearly something broken like your BA planes!
  • Deceptive practice

    I felt like the airlines has deceptive practices. There are many underlying fees and everything is extra. I had to check a bag and pay for it. I brought a carrying so I won’t have to check a bag but apparently the r only ticket I bought requires any carry on be checked.

    Stopped working a while ago. Tried reinstalling, updating iOS, but nothing works. Been like this for several versions of the app already

    It would be nice if you could select checked bags and select “military on orders” without having to pay $40, since it shows bags should be free.

    I’m traveling with my elderly parents and my father who was just diagnosed with Parkinson’s. I called to ask if we would need to check in our carry on since they were basic economy. We do not want to check in luggage. Rachel was so wonderful in getting my parents closer to the front of the plane. And helped me understand we do not need to check anything in and are each allowed a carry on and a personal. It’s so nice to be able to call and speak to a human and get such wonderful service. My family and I love United Airlines and we don’t fly any other airline!!! You’ve always taken great care of us and we thank you for that!! Keep doing what you do and give Rachel an award!! We give her 10 out of 10 for her communication and patience!!! Thank you!
