Description

CPT® QuickRef from the American Medical Association The CPT QuickRef app puts all the coding and billing tools that you need in the palm of your hand. Developed by the American Medical Association (AMA), this on-the-go reference guide quickly helps you determine the appropriate Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) codes to use for accurate billing. (This app provides suggested codes. Final code selection remains the responsibility of the individual user.) CPT QuickRef is the only official mobile app from the AMA – the source of the CPT codeset, and experts to provide authoritative information about CPT codes and proper use. E/M codes are the most frequently used codes and arguably the most difficult to assign. The E/M Wizard (included in the free trial and with any single or multiyear Coding & Billing Pack purchase) will help physicians and qualified health care professionals select the right code according to AMA and CMS coding guidelines The app includes a 14-day trial of full access, after which in-app purchase or activation is required. Choose a single year Coding and Billing Pack, • The latest information — Receive automatic when new relative value units (RVUs) and proprietary laboratory analysis (PLA) codes are released or when technical corrections are made to 2023 CPT codes • Favorites — Select the codes you use most and save them to your favorites list • Facility and non-facility RVUs — Use federal data on facility and non-facility work and practice expense values • GPCIs — Set your region’s geographic practice cost index to calculate accurate Medicare payment for each procedure • Global days — Reference the number of global days CMS assigns to a given procedure • Color illustrations — Better understand complex procedures with 200+ procedural illustrations • Clear references to CPT® Assistant articles — View article titles and tap for direct access with the CPT Assistant Archive add-on • Over 4,400 Vignettes – understand exactly what procedures each code represents with typical patient and service descriptions

I cannot find the option to pay for it. Thee free trial only lasted 1 day last month. I still want to buy it, since it’s the only such app I know of.

This App does nothing it states and certainly nothing that cost $89.99 only to out you have to purchase other access for $39.99 code assistance which is articles that can be found in Google. And to top it off NO REFUNDS. I tried emailing them no response at all. Still fighting with my bank over this Update 12/25 Apple has restricted my debit because of this app from August 26th. It still shows a pending charge that was never paid! This app is clear fraud they are charging hundreds for informations that is searchable on Google if you don’t know any better. Wish I did before downloading this apps. Days and months trying to resolve this issue

There was an update to the app and now it refuses to open. I even deleted it and then downloaded it again and it still refuses to open.

You can download the app but if you want to look at anything, you get a message to pay $60 dollars a month. NO THANKS! Not worth it.
  • DO NOT BUY THIS APP

I have now paid for the app twice. Once by purchasing the CPT book directly from the AMA. The app worked for approximately 9 months and then just stopped. After removing it and downloading it a second time, I decided to purchase the premium access to see if that helped. I am logged in and it shows as installed, but I still cannot access the codes. I contacted the AMA for a refund for the unsupported app, and they responded that they will not refund the money and I will need to petition Apple for a refund. As usual, the AMA shows what a garbage society it is.
  • Just starting using it, more updates to come

By no, you did NOT make me smile
First time user and I spent the money to view all years available. So far, I am not happy. I have already ran into a code that was added 9/22 but has not been updated in this app. I am unable to locate the effective date. Otherwise it is pretty easy to navigate and gives quite a bit of information. I will update my review after a little time.
  • Locks you out of Premium content with no recourse

This app locked me out after a month of use. Asks you to buy premium content as the free trial has expired. I never signed for any free trial. Bought the premium bundle that included the book as well from Amazon. There is a tab that says “Restore” but clicking it doesn’t do anything. Don’t know where to get help. Would not have bought this app if I knew of these issues.

I’ve been trying to contact developer thru the app since last August. The QR code purchased with the hard PT will not scan. The books through AAPC are not cheap and include the mobile app. It’s a good deal IF IT WORKED OR SOMEONE WOULD RESPOND.
  • Incompetent App

Terrible. Just terrible. Customer care isn’t helpful either. I tried scanning the QR code from the 2020 version of the book but it doesn’t work. Customer care doesn’t seem to have a clue either. Just a horrible experience and customer care never follows up even though they say they will.
