Want the ultimate mobile guitar and bass tone studio? AmpliTube gives you a massive collection of virtual gear that you can use to practice, play and record with world-class tone anytime and anywhere. Build your own guitar or bass rig with up to 6 stompbox FX, an amplifier and cabinet with mics. Plug your instrument into your iPad with one of IK's interfaces like iRig 2 or iRig HD 2, and get ready to be blown away. AmpliTube CS gives you 7 stompbox effects, 3 amplifiers, 3 speaker cabinets and 2 mics, a free Loop Drummer Rock groove pack and a 2-track recorder. You can expand this via a massive library of over 150 amps and stompboxes from top brands like Fender™, Ampeg®, Orange®, Mesa/Boogie®, and many more, or unlock the rigs of your heroes with gear from Slash, Dimebag Darrell, Jimi Hendrix, and Brian May. Ready to hit the stage? AmpliTube’s Live Mode offers an optimized GUI for live use, with all the settings and controls you need in an easy-to-read format. Control your virtual rig just like real gear: change presets, trigger FX, loops and more all right from your feet. AmpliTube pairs with iRig Stomp I/O for a powerful all-in-one stage rig, works wirelessly with iRig Blueboard, and supports other MIDI controllers as well. AmpliTube also offers innovative ways to play, practice and record with an optional Looper, more drum track loops, a full 8-track recorder and DAW-style studio all available for in-app purchase. • Unstable and unreliable

This app used to be fantastic, replaced my analog rig when I added the stomp io to it. Now it just freezes all the time! Glad I don’t gig anymore because this app is totally unreliable.
  • Does not work with Logic Pro for iPad

I have the full bundle, and once I got into Logic Pro, it does not work. Ik Multimedia you need to get your act together and make this a plug-in. I have a lot of money invested in this, and it’s worthless to record.
  • Needs AUV3 support for Logic Pro for iPad

This would be a great plugin as an AUV3 with support for Logic Pro for iPad!
  • Not impressed

This app and the whole iOS experience has been a complete disappointment to say the least. This whole thing is just designed to keep you buying stuff for crappy apps that don’t work without the other and it’s sickening. I’m sticking to real gear.
  • Needs an update

The app works well but does not have the features that other apps offer. There is no tone net and no way to share presets between the desktop app, so you are stuck with the presets that it came with and the ones you create. The app also lacks dual channel / two amp feature that other apps have. Overall it works but not My go to as it lacks so man features.
  • Stupid

Well the app itself seems cool, but you cannot access the user manual unless you register an account on their website. But in doing so, you must give authorization for them and Fender to freely use your personal information for whatever marketing purposes they wish. I find that coercive, rude, and unacceptable.
  • Could not make it play anything

Bought iRig HD2 which is made by this same company of amplitude people. I could not make it play anything. I connected by guitar to another digital pedal effect app and i ran the moment i open the app. Also, it told me that i coudl redeem somethign from with a code and guess what. Theres not a single spot in the goddamn app to input a redeem code, im done. That hardware was good enough to use in other apps.

Looks like this app hasn’t been updated for the iPad mini 6th gen, which came out about 7 months ago…

  • Taunting me with a deal I can’t get

The app is fine. Audio quality is mediocre. UI is quirky but you’ll figure it out. What’s infuriating is that every time I launch the app it says “save now on the all-in package with 80% off” but it doesn’t let me purchase it at the sale price. I don’t need much from the package but reverb pedal and looper would be nice to have. Stop taunting us!
