Description

ICD10 Consult puts the most searchable, complete, current ICD10-CM resource at your fingertips. With flexible search that speaks your language, a deep understanding of the codes, customizable code notes which integrated into your search, and more, this is the resource you wish your EMR provided. With ICD10 Consult, you’ll never have to flip through a 30 pound book or go hunting for a coding reference page again... nor will you scratch your head wondering which 'magic word' is in the code's name. • Deep code analysis allows easy handling of laterality, encounter, and staging codes, letting the app do the work of finding the perfect code • Add your own custom notes to any code which will appear seamlessly within search results • Tens of thousands of medical acronyms and synonyms are transparently cross-referenced to let you search using the terms you are used to; e.g. "MI" to "Myocardial Infarction" • Search term flexibility understands that, for example, 'vertebrae' matches 'vertebra' and 'ovarian' matches 'ovary' • ICD-10 tabular and alphabetical indexes integrated and simultaneously accessed to maximize results • Instant linkage within code descriptions • Coding guidelines as well as section and chapter instructions tightly integrated • Know at-a-glance if a code is valid for reimbursement or if more specificity is needed • Browse diagnoses by chapter, section and subsection; search within specific hierarchies • Favorites list allows quick access to your most common codes, with groups to organize them • Add custom, searchable notes on a per-code basis • Convert ICD9 codes to ICD10 by name or by code number The current 2024 ICD10-CM codes were effective October 1, 2023. The app draws the complete code database directly from the data files available at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). ICD10 Consult also provides full searchable and browsable access to the old ICD9-CM codes which were in use until October 1, 2015. ICD10 Consult is ad supported to provide you with the current, up-to-date codes. In-App Purchase is available to disable ads. There are no bait-and-switch limited features.

They app tries to charge me around $20 every year to remove the ads. I thought paying this once should be sufficient.
  • I paid for the full version. Still seeing ads.

By Paid version still shows ads
I use this app almost every day and am generally happy with it. However, after running the latest update for the 2024 codes, 1/3 of my screen is hijacked by TikTok ads. I am supremely disappointed to have paid for the full version only to have to put up with ads during an already crammed schedule.

ICD code in my I-phone app has been a great help to assist in billing and also documenting with accuracy the acceptable diagnoses in medical records.

I really can’t use the app from the different ads that are in the middle of the screen when trying to use the app.
  • Why Bait and switch to pay?

So I sort of get it. Maybe you feel a $19.99 price tag is a bit steep for a beleaguered medical provider. But rather than be insidious and force your customers to sift through irritating ads first then pay out of frustration from awful google ads- just own it. State it. Pay up front. I paid . I’m okay with it. Transparency.

I paid for an app and right dab in the center of the screen are ads that change very few seconds. I have only been using the app 5 minutes and I am ready to delete it.
  • Most annoying app I have ever used in my life

This app immediately started to annoy me upon opening. It was full of advertising and provided NO information on medical codes. What a waste! It is like the old time PC viruses that require a “subscription” to free up your screen. I’m sorry I wasted the time to download it.
  • Ridiculous new pop-ups

The app is no longer even usable due to the ridiculous pop up ads for these dumb games. Medical apps such as this should not have to deal with this nonsense. We use this to try to help treat or patients

Great reference for people in the healthcare field needing ICD-10 coding. I like the favorites section as well. Please update when needed!
