Dropbox lets anyone upload and transfer files to the cloud, and share them with anyone. Back up and sync docs, photos, videos, and other files to cloud storage and access them from any device, no matter where you are. And with advanced sharing features, it’s easy to share docs and send files—large or small—to family, friends, and co-workers. Features: • Automatically upload videos and photos from your camera roll to cloud photo storage—all in the background—for easy video sharing and photo sharing. • Access any file in your account—even offline—and preview over 175 different file types with no special software required. • Easily send large files by copying and pasting a link you can give to anyone, even if they don’t have a Dropbox account. • Scan documents, receipts, IDs, photos, and more using your mobile device and transform them into high-quality PDFs, so you can view and send anywhere. • Sync folders on your PC or Mac to Dropbox with computer backup, and recover older versions or restore deleted files with version history and file recovery. Sign up now for your free Dropbox Plus trial. You’ll get 2 TB (2,000 GB) of storage space—that’s enough room to save files from all your linked devices. We’ve also introduced some new features as part of your Plus plan: Dropbox Passwords to store and sync passwords across all your devices and Dropbox Vault to secure and organize your most sensitive documents. And with Dropbox Rewind, you can roll back any file, folder, or your entire account, up to 30 days. Existing Plus customers can upgrade to Dropbox Professional. With 3 TB (3,000GB), you can store all your stuff—from work projects to personal photos—and have space to spare. You and your clients can comment on most file types without leaving Dropbox. And you can protect your work with a watermark, add shared link controls, or rewind your account up to 180 days. Before starting a trial or completing payment, you’ll see the plan price. This amount will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase and on renewal and will vary by plan and country. Dropbox subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. Your account will charged for renewal 24 hours before the end of your current billing period. To avoid auto-renewal, turn it off in at least 24 hours before your subscription renews. You can turn off auto-renewal anytime time from your iTunes account settings. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase. Dropbox is a secure cloud solutions leader trusted by Fortune 500 companies for their most sensitive data. Over 14 million paid users choose Dropbox because they know they can count on a company that’s also dedicated to their security and privacy—no matter what they do or where they are. • What happened to the Save function

    By gamist
I cannot save a movie/clip to the camera roll anymore! Please put back! Necessary to text vids! Edit: AHA. Sorry!! I found it--it moved. I love this app!
  • Battery Drain and Freemium Model

    By kingdrewsea
My top complaints about Dropbox is the freemium model for data sharing. It’s either 2 GB free or 2 TB for a subscription cost. I’d like to see more free storage than 2 GB. That’s not enough to hold more than some text documents. Less than 1 DVD or flash drive could carry. Especially now that the competition is Google and Microsoft which both offer more free cloud storage. Other complaint is battery drain accros all platforms, mobile, desktop, and Mac. There needs to be more efficient algorithm for managing syncs instead of just “always” syncing. Especially considering this is not the only cloud service most users will be running. Please optimize this app better.
  • Impossible to link a computer to a phone. You should go out of business.

    Ditto that
  • Slow upload

Very slow upload background, worse than my android
  • Ridiculous rules and excessive customer punishment

    By miraellee
I have paid for Dropbox Professional for the last 3 years. However, I'm now looking for better options. Dropbox's ridiculous file sharing limits, punishments for breaking their limits, and lack of support around this issue have forced us to leave. I would NOT recommend dropbox to anyone. We got frozen out from file sharing three days ago for an undisclosed amount of time (we are still frozen) simply for reorganizing our files within their system. They said that we moved to many files around and we are now being punished for doing so. Yes, they actually punish customers by preventing you from using all of their features. That is NOT a good business practice for a service that I willing pay for.
  • Inferior to Android version

    By Unhappy User 989
Doesn’t prevent you from uploading duplicates so you use twice the space. Can’t push photos to Dropbox from Photos app; you have to be in Dropbox and then pull them from Photos. Can do both these things on Android.
  • Great! / Audio shouldn’t stop when commenting on audio

    By C McRob
Hi there Dropbox! Props for all the amazing changes you’ve implemented in the last few years, I’ve switched over from google drive and it keeps getting better and better, the workflow! I review mixes of music with Dropbox often and it would be clutch to be able to comment in a way where having the cursor / typing in the comment field doesn’t disrupt / pause the audio playback - kinda breaks flow. Thanks for your eyes on this and hopeful soon implementation!
  • iPhone Photo Syncing Broken

    By Phelan R
Update: I deleted the app, restarted my iPhone but the issue still persists. I’ll try their support next. ——— What happened?! I can no longer sync my iPhone videos and photos to Dropbox. Like others said, it started syncing all over again and now it’s stuck on “looking for photos”. Please fix ASAP.
  • Usually a reliable storage app but now won’t work

    By USNmaverick27
I’ve been using Dropbox for years and have never had any issues— whatever file or size. Since the new update, I am unable to upload ANY file, let alone ONE SINGLE PHOTO. The app crashes instantly as soon as I select the “upload” button. Have had to use Google Drive instead.
  • Scanning document will crash the app before the file saves

    By Needbroccoli
This use to work, but now when I use the camera to scan a document, when I click “Next” the app will crash.
