    This update is so bad that you may question whether they’re intentionally making it useless. It’s like they said oh let’s make it a little prettier than before but don’t worry about usage at all, since the customers aren’t going anywhere just for this issue. And they don’t want to pay any competent techs to fix anything. This app has too many problems to list. Pathetic.

    After the update you can no longer access the guide or record shows from the app. That’s the only reason I ever used the app.

    Revised app is terrible. The guide no longer shows any of my local channels. NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX no longer there. So I can’t choose to record any of them or view any of them. How can I get the old U-Verse app back! Also discovered that some of the described features are not there when I log in with my UVerse account. Such as there is no Guide tab. Just a live tv tab which doesn’t have the local channels. Maybe there’s a bug in the system depending on what loginyou have? Guide now shows local channels, but only if you disable live feed every time you log in. But the guide no longer identifies show you’ve schedule to record on the guide itself. And when you go to the recording tab, can’t easily find you recordings, and it doesn’t show everything that’s been recorded or scheduled.

    I primarily used the app to manage my recordings and make sure I set up recordings while away—this new version is simply garbage for doing any of that. Can’t search for shows, need to browse the guide instead, which takes forever. I usually record Formula 1 and it won’t even tell me when my scheduled recording is set to record—completely useless.

    It wasn’t too good before (unstable, crashed a significant amount, etc), but at LEAST it had a fairly good structure. Guide worked well, live TV usually worked, etc. Well, they managed to completely screw that up! Now you can’t easily move to a future day/time/channel anymore. Also not apparent how to select a non- live future channel/time to record a show, if it’s even possible any more. This app is currently a disaster! Avoid at all cosrs!

    Why do I have to deselect Live Channels to see local channels in the guide? And why are they not available to add as favorites? The recording & on demand interface is awful. You need to fire whomever made this version.

    Are you kidding me with this updates are supposed to make the App better,this is unusable,it doesn’t even scroll nice,hard to find what you recorded,channel times are a mess to look at. Honestly whoever approved this needs a demotion!
