  • My new favorite rogue-like game

Honestly didn’t think anything would top Slay the Spire or Monster Train for me. This one is unreal. I did not like it at first, but once I finally had a good run, I was hooked. Six classes that will reward quite the grind to get them all max unlocked. It rewards grinding as opposed to demanding it like many other games. I hope that one day it comes to PC because I would probably play it even more if it wasn’t limited to mobile devices.

This game is fun, addictive, and challenging. I’ve already put well over 100 in and it’s only been a few weeks. My hat goes off to the developer.

It’s good fun! I’ve put ~10 hours into it since I got it last week. It hits all the fun synergy building high notes. It has a huge number of mechanics and ways to bridge between them (kinda like how sts’s envenom bridges the multi-hit and poison mechanics, but even more interconnected). There’s so much to unlock! So much content I can’t wait to get into! Design critiques: - The UI regarding menu advancement is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s on an unskippable timer, sometimes it requires a tap, sometimes it’s timed or by tap. This leads to me sometimes accidentally pressing options I don’t want, skipping ones I do want, and staring dumbly at the screen waiting for it to auto advance (while it waits for me to tap) - Some keywords get a helpful pop up explaining what they do… and some don’t. All of them should! - Perhaps I’ve just gotten really lucky with my builds, but I feel like enemies lack ways to disrupt my engine / make me think outside the box. There’s an abundance of removal, and my deck gets manicured to a point where I can just mindlessly play cards. It leads to them feeling like they lack unique mechanical identity, when perhaps they really do have it but I haven’t noticed because I haven’t been forced to engage with it. Maybe there’s more of this in the harder difficulty modes and I just haven’t gotten to it!

War and cards? Plus, I love me some RPGs. Direct touch doesn’t work with most games, but does with this.

There aren’t many games on the App Store that catered to what I’ve been missing since I was about 14. I’m a giant, Pokémon fan, who loves anime, and also plays DND, and this fits everything. However, I have a few minor suggestions on how to make this game a bit better what frustrates me most is every time I die I’m sent back the very beginning of the game, after create a whole new character, and start from level one all over again. You do have a revival system, and I like it, it does take a lot of grinding, a lot of work, and a lot of special circumstances to get to that point. However, my messages of sorts? When we die, and have made it past Brightondale, dictation, but this, no doubt, maybe we could be sent back to Brightondale with the health we had before the battle in which we died, and some kind of degration of our degradation of our wealth at that point as well. it’ll be really nice that would save progress button too, if only so, we can get our bus kicked, try again, as many times need be. It’s only suggestion, Buffalo blind player, yes, we are visually impaired, and the reason this app gets five stars is largely due to the fact that you have made this app accessible. I, and I imagine many other blind players, commend you. You’re doing a great job, keep it up, I haven’t tried any of the expansions, because I wanted to be able to complete the main story first, but I imagine they’re just as awesome. The night there should’ve been the medieval variety, as in the class I mainly play because the armor buffs are so good, thank you long sword! But I guess it translated to the time of day I’m usually playing this at, which is at night.

I’ve been playing for such a long time and it’s the perfect setup for a roguelike, it being a mobile game makes it so easy to pop in for part of my run in between work. My only complaint is MAKE MORE DLC IM READY TO PAY

The game is highly engaging, very addictive. I have had lots of fun with this game since I downloaded it almost 2 months ago and I still don't think I can put it down. I want to thank the developers for having made this game accessible for the blind. I am glad that both sided and blind players can play and enjoy a wonderful game like this.. The sound effects, the music and the storyline are awesome. Keep up the excellent work. I definitely recommend this fantastic game to everyone.

This game is worth every penny I’ve spent on it the rewards are fare and I in joy the grind. As a mtg player it really speaks to me collecting cards and combining them into Decks is one of my favorite things and this game does it very well

I never write reviews but was told I have to since I play this game like 4 hours a day. Takes a second to get into considering it’s depth but once you’re in, it’s hard to get out. Unbelievable gameplay, phenomenal complexity, and just all around magical. I wish there were more games like this. I would buy any game released by this team - 100/10
