The game itself is fun enough and cute enough to be worth some time. But it’s clearly designed so that you need a lot of power-ups (extras of one sort or another) to get through the levels. Fortunately, they appear to be pretty readily available—for a small fee, of course. Or you can watch an ad to get it for “free.” (i.e., you can also pay for it with your time and whatever personal information they can gather about you.) But there’s a catch — a hopefully unintended catch — at least 2/3 of the time, either there’s no ad to show, so either you just sit around for 20 seconds while they look for an ad, or you watch the ad, but they later decide that you didn’t. In either of those situations, they’ve Ed wasted yours time, and you don’t get a power-up. You can continue wasting your time by retrying a bunch of times, but unless they can come up with an ad, play it for you, and decide that you watched it, you get nothing for your time and effort. It’s ridiculously frustrating — and these are knit the only issues with their ad servers. They keep coming up with new content that I would love to play, but I’m going to be giving up on the game pretty soon if they don’t put some dev resources into getting control of their ad server.
