Salotto is a free app connecting pool players. Meet up with new players, play competitive games and get ranked within your area, country and world. High ranking players can qualify for invitational tournaments and prizes all while affecting their FargoRating (optional). Salotto is for everyone that plays pool, from beginner to professional. Salotto takes away the uncertainty of finding a competitive pool match. Real-time statistics keep members up to date on where they rank in the app. Salotto is free to download allowing a user to create a pool match anywhere or join a match they find on the games map. You can even host a match once a month for free, then pay $0.99 per event to create more matches. If you plan to play more than 3 times per month or want unlimited access, you can sign up for Salotto Pro. Salotto Pro gives members unlimited hosting with no advertising for $4.99 per month or a discounted $49.99 per year. Salotto understands not all users like monthly subscriptions and therefore want to offer the Salotto Free platform with the "pay as you go" format so everyone can use it at their pace.     For now I am giving this app 1 star because nothing works correctly on it. It freezes after every selection, will not allow me to create matches and also will not save changes to account. When I tap the hamburger bar menu button, the screen just dims and freezes. I would like to change this rating if the creators can provide some assistance with fixing these issues.

    It looks like a nice app but I only saw one match listed and that was in Las Vegas. I’m a thousand miles away. Nothing within driving distance.

    App works well and is very easy to navigate. This really could be the thing that we need as a community to make pool comparably competitive to other games like chess, golf, and Esports that have obviously found success with reliable Elo ranking systems.

    The app is easy to use. It’s great for finding and playing fair match ups because it is linked to your Fargorate. My favorite part is that I can establish my FargoRate without having to travel to every large event.

    For competitive pool players, this is truly groundbreaking! Until now, the only way to have games scored in FargoRate was by competing in tournaments or sanctioned leagues which utilize this system. With COVID, most pool halls are closed and many tournaments have been cancelled. The Salotto phone app allows us to play individual competitive matches we setup with opponents on our home pool tables (or pool hall tables) and have the results uploaded directly into the FargoRate system. I downloaded the app a few months ago and I absolutely love it! The real-time game tracking within the app is simple and intuitive. Creating matches in the app takes about 45 seconds. It’s easy and again, truly groundbreaking! No more waiting for a regional tournament event in order for game information to be scored in FargoRate! Now the power of competing and scoring games in FargoRate is truly in our hands! I encourage all of my pool playing friends to download the app and check it out! So far, I rate the app experience a solid 9 out of 10.

    This app is a pool players deluxe menu! You can find action no matter where you are. Your matches can be entered to develop personal stats! Salotto is grooming the app as the players needs grow! If you are into pool at all, you need this app in your life. The Salotto Team is devoted to the player!
