  • RIP chat ☝🏻🙏🏼

I see no reason to have gotten rid of the in-app chat. It’s convenient and fun to look back on them. Literally what could be the benefit to not having it? Bring it back

Ugh. They updated and removed the chat feature. So it’s gone from answering questions and easily discussing answers, to answering questions and having to randomly shoehorn that conversation into whatever we are already texting about, or not discuss it at all. I don’t know if they left it in the paid version, but they should bring that back to the free app regardless.
  • We were happy with it until they removed messaging

They recently removed the messaging function where you were able to discuss with your partner some of the questions. The only option now is to “share” externally and discuss outside of the app. Disappointed to say the least, lower value if you can only submit responses through the app :(
  • So disappointed chat is gone

My partner and I live several hours apart and this app was one of our favorite ways to connect. Since the chat feature has been removed, we no longer enjoy using paired. There is no way to have deeper conversations about the topics without switching to another method of communication. So disappointing.
  • The inability to chat, sometimes makes answering questions feel like a chore.

I like the app but after a while you just find yourself answering questions with no substance behind them. You can respond with emoji, which a 39 year old who’s been married for 9 years I refuse to respond with an emoji. I’m not a teenager. Often we have to wait till the end of the day to figure out why we answered a certain question the way we did. We could use our messaging app but it’s too cumbersome. Important text messages were being buried by the lengthy relationship text. I doubt I’ll resubscribe without that feature.
  • Fun but too expensive

Been using this app for a couple years and wife and I have enjoyed answering questions. Cancelled my subscription today because a recent update removed the chat feature which we used with almost every question to dig deeper, which I thought was the point of the app, to start a conversation and bring couples closer. But now the ability to converse more on a topic in the app is gone. So maybe we will keep answering the one free question a day but not worth the money. Also hate it when apps offer you a massive discount, 40% off, when start to cancel, why not offer that to the valued customers who loved and use your app and not to the ones unhappy and leaving. Feels like a scummy cable company who could always charge you less but won’t unless you complain. So much for loyal happy customers.
  • Bring back discussion!!!!

The only reason why I’m giving this app a four star is because they took away the discussion function that allowed me and my partner to talk about the topic of the day and why we answered in the manner that we did. To take it away from us adds a layer of inconvenience where we are required to move the conversation to another platform like text messages. I hope the dev team will see this and bring back the discussion function, please!!!
  • This app makes you feel bad

Me and hubby started using this cause we thought it would be fun and help us learn more about eachother. Instead it taught us we have deep rooted trauma from our previous lives and this app has a great way of bringing it all up. We started fighting more and more because the questions were making us feel bad about ourselves it had nothing to do with our relationship which mind you was pretty solid without this stupid app. 7 months into our year subscription and we quit.

Great app, but removing the discuss option on each question makes it less useful.

great for helping promote attention to your relationship. however, the app promotes some destructive things like porn or open relationships as normal/acceptable
