This app doesn’t work. Period. However, the ‘Continue on PC’ feature has been integrated into Microsoft Edge The user who is all bent out of shape about having to sign into their MS account because the same functionality could be achieved using a local device... Please explain how. This service (in Edge, not the app) works by assigning an ID number to a user and their session, which is handled in the cloud. When you send a session from one device to another, the system uses that ID# to restore the session on another device. You can’t do this with local accounts. Tell me how a local account on a phone and a local account on a PC are supposed to be connected? To the user saying they were lead to believe you could answer calls and text using this app, well, you are just plain stupid. It doesn’t say anywhere that that functionality exists with this app.
  • Only supports Edge browser

Seems to only support sending to the Microsoft Edge browser on Windows 10, ignoring your system default browser. Better than not having Handoff support 🤷‍♂️
  • It’s a tracking app. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Convenient isn't it how they make you sign in to your Microsoft account to use it...when you could just as well use it without signing in if they would allow it. Shame that the half-baked Your Phone app is uninstallable. Yet another useless app from the aggressive data aggregators at Microsoft. Here’s windows 10 for free...oh by the way, we track everything! Pretty soon they're going to disable local accounts all together and you’ll have no choice but to become one of the collective.

All it does is allows you to stay on the tab you are on just on your pc instead of your phone. I was led to believe I could text and receive calls while using this app and that is what let me down. But other than that it is fairly fine, and I use it occasionally.

I’ve been trying to use this app since it came out, and have tried to use it with Edge on iOS and Edge on my PC (both EdgeHTML Edge and Chromium Edge). During one version of the Chromium Edge beta did this app work. At no other point has it. I’ve disconnected my devices. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled. There have been Windows updates, browser updates, etc. I have looked for answers and seen lots of people ask for help with nothing helpful said. At this point, the number of times I’ve tried this across two iOS devices and 3 laptops, is a joke. I shouldn’t need a third app to send a browser tab between my devices. Chrome and Firefox doing it natively, with Firefox being the simplest and least error prone solution. I am a .NET dev and instructor and love to tout Microsoft products and services to students, but as with most, it always feels like a lot of the basic features are lacking or incomplete. In this case, at time of writing, I know many things don’t sync yet between Chromium Edge installs across devices, but this feature has been busted since EdgeHTML Edge. Please fix it. Or at least have Continue in PC provide a better error than “something went wrong. Try again later.” Literally the most useless catch all that might be user friendly for users who don’t care, but at least an error code would allow the community to compare notes and solutions.

Turn this app to an Edge extension instead for better functionality and usability.
