  • WHAT IS GOING ON!??? PLEASE!

    I am having problems with my app and no one is helping to resolve them. I have yet to receive a response from anyone.!! In the past, Customer Service was good. It would take maybe five hours for the issues to be resolved. Now I’ve noticed the past two months. The issues and Customer Service have taken longer periods of time with no follow up. I have reached out on Facebook, Instagram, the help center on the app, and now on Info Speechify. ( which I just received an email reporting “ You might have spelled or formatted the group name incorrectly. * The owner of the group may have removed this group. * You may need to join the group before receiving permission to post. * This group may not be open to posting.” ) Please note. I have used this info@speechify email before and used the auto generated email from previous correspondence!! For the past 24 hours, I have been trying to troubleshoot the issue. I have updated the app however it’s still not working properly! I am unable to receive the premium and AI Voices that I have paid for. I always gave Speechify great review. I have even referred a person to the app. When it works properly, it’s an excellent program. However, how can you have an excellent program when you do not have proper customer service to rectify issues!! I am ready to continue to make comments and complaints on the poor customer service that I am receiving. I was informed it will take 12 hours for a response. It has been over 24 hours and no one has even acknowledge my cry for help on all of the platforms that I’ve reached out too. WHAT IS GOING ON!?? I believe that I have been more than patient with this issue!

    This app is great for short readings or long ones. Don’t know what’s been happening but it’s always off on the amount of time it will take to read something and after I’m done listening to something it removes all the cropping I did so I’ll have to do it again the next time I listen to it.

    For so much money you should have a live chat customer support and more support hours than 2pm to 8pm. Pathetic. The app is a tracking machine. They ask for all your personal info so they can sell it. Save your money and save your info… DELETE ASAP

  • Great, but costs so much

    I'm a student with adhd and I love speechify, it's the only way i've been able to read again. However, the premium costs so much, and I can't afford it. So I'm stuck with only five file slots and I have to delete old stuff in order to read new stuff, which means I can't go back and read old files. Just be wary of the fact that many features are limited behind a paywall when downloading this app.

  • Updates remove features

    The app basically just changes what it looks like with their updates, but they always make changes that make the app worse when they do this. For example they've removed the ability to edit files, find and replace function, and they have a max file amount now (5). And as a user who would be fine to pay for permanent features like more file space and some other features they offer but only behind a subscription making me use the app less and less as it feels like it only gets worse even the premium doesn't look like it offers anything worth price tag

  • The app reads the words on the back pages

    It’s a wonderful idea, however, when you take pictures to turn them into PDF, the app ends up, reading the words that are in the back of the page, and they get all crumpled up. Because of that you have to crop every single picture. I am reading a huge textbook so that’s taking way longer than it should. I’ll keep trying to see if I get the hang of it.

    i don’t read a lot or fast often so i use TTS (Text To Speech) browsers and apps to make my reading better, my phase is 4-5 words each second so i don’t go quick i like calm slow wave and not too fast or else i might not hear it, and i copy and paste them so make sure that is possible, i hope i love speechify and have a great day.
