Description

Nintendo's hit strategy-RPG Fire Emblem series, which has been going strong for more than 25 years, continues its journey on smart devices. Fight battles customized for touch screens and on-the-go play. Summon characters from across the Fire Emblem universe. Develop your Heroes' skills, and take them to new heights. This is your adventure—a Fire Emblem that's like nothing you've seen before! This application is free to download and offers some optional in-app purchases. ■ An epic quest The game features an ongoing, original story where new characters and dozens upon dozens of battle-tested Heroes from across the Fire Emblem universe meet. There are over 1,300 story stages available as of January 2021! (This total includes all difficulty modes.) Clear these story stages and you'll earn Orbs, which are used for summoning Heroes. New story chapters are added frequently, so don't miss out! ■ Intense battles Take part in strategic turn-based battles streamlined for on-the-go play with maps that fit in the palm of your hand! You'll need to think hard about the advantages and disadvantages of each Hero's weapon...and even evaluate the map itself as you battle. Lead your army with easy touch-and-drag controls, including the ability to attack by simply swiping an ally over an enemy. New to strategic turn-based battles? Don't worry! Use the Auto-Battle option to have your characters fight on their own. ■ Strengthen your favorite Heroes There are many ways to strengthen your allies: leveling, skills, weapons, equipable items, and more. Take your characters to greater and greater heights as you battle for victory. ■ Replayable modes In addition to the main story, there are many other modes where you can strengthen your allies, compete against other players, and more. ■ Original characters meet legendary Heroes The game features numerous Hero characters from the Fire Emblem series and brand-new characters created by artists Yusuke Kozaki, Shigeki Maeshima, and Yoshiku. Some Heroes will fight at your side as allies, while others may stand in your way as fierce enemies to be defeated and added to your army. * Internet connectivity required to play. Fire emblem as a whole has a very friendly community, and Heroes is no exception. It’s got a great (and continually expanding) cast of characters from every game in the franchise, and welcomes players of all varieties.

I have been playing this game from launch to mid 2018, and picked it up again around 2020. It’s been so much fun building units and seeing how they perform in this game’s surprisingly engaging competitive modes. This game has made numerous positive changes in the last year, including sparking, the 4* focus, celestial stones, the ability to change IVs via trait fruits, and the 4* special rate bringing older 5*s back in a clever way that neither breaks your pity rate nor adds bloat to the summoning pool. This game is both heavily promotes whaling and is very F2P friendly at the same time. The very top tiers of this game’s competitive modes like Arena, Aether Raids, and Resonant Battles require 11 copies of multiple specific and extremely rare units, like Mythics and Harmonic units, but the lower and middle tiers of said modes are very accessible for any player with rewards that are more than worth it. However, for each positive change in the game, there always seems to be a catch of some sorts, or a monkey’s paw. -Sparking is not on every banner, only on New Heroes banners. These units do not have the utility provided by those on seasonal and legendary/mythic banners, which do not have sparking. This is not a good decision in my opinion, as people get really discouraged when they spend upwards of 300+ orbs and do not get the units they want, making them not want to play the game, much less spend money on it. Not even weekly revivals, the best opportunity to get older 5* units, have sparking, when incorporating it will be a great way to get people to pull on them. It’s not like a few people with a +10 Hinoka are gonna break the game. The introduction of Celestial Stones, items rewarded each time you spark a unit that can be traded for rare items, could be used as an incentive to put sparking on every banner, but unfortunately it seems like they will only reinforce the decision to lock sparking to only specific banners. -4* focus units have had an unfortunate effect on this game’s availability of skills. In 2018 and 2019, each newly introduced unit available at 4* rarity and free units given through GHBs and Tempest Trials each had exciting new skills that were previously premium, giving every player regardless of how much they spend something to look forward to. This came to an abrupt stop in 2020 which just so “happened” to be when the 4* focus was introduced. There is an exception: Seasonal 4* focuses get great skills and more rare movement/weapon types than our recent F2P-friendly units that are permanently available. In other words, the more exclusive units are the only ones getting desirable skills, while more available units typically get extremely underwhelming initial kits that do not bring anything new to the table. This to me comes across as very inconsiderate and even somewhat predatory. If I have any other criticisms of this game, I’d like more endgame non-competitive PvE content like Abyssal maps that we currently only get once a month. In short, a very accessible and casual Fire Emblem experience that despite its at-times inconsiderate developers still manages to create a great experience whether you are F2P or a whale. I have enjoyed it very much and hope to stick with it for years to come. All of my criticisms listed above are out of love for this game and a desire to see it be the best experience possible. (Just give us Quick Riposte 3 at 4* rarity already you cowards.)

I would like to see a crossover between this and another game, also gender opposite versions of units, less orbs usage for summoning, more orb rewards for completing objectives and a skill chest where we can uncluttered our units skills without losing the hero, and a create our own hero Overall though, it’s fun to play just rustrating at times

So I have been playing this game for years and it is very good. I would recommend it to anyone that needs something to pass time or just get away. The overall game play is awesome and it has higher difficulties for seasoned players. The shortfalls for this game to me is the summoning, there are some characters you will never be able to get and you won’t know that until you spend over 100+orbs trying to get a specific one. The other is that some of the AI heroes are extremely OP, I think that you shouldn’t be put up against heroes that have stats you can’t get to yourself. Overall like I said before get the game you won’t regret it just stay away from the summoning unless you really want a hero and if you do start summoning if you spend up or more than 100 orbs just stop trying.

This game has more positives than negative in my opinion and I’d rather focus on the positives. Storyline(from all FE games too. I am someone that has only played newer fire emblem games so this game allows me to recognize characters with storylines other than just FEH). Characters are unique in terms of personality, clothing, and skills. A simplified version of my switch FE game but I welcome the simple yet strategic factor it gives. It’s constantly changing with new units, skills, and weapons. All that work in harmony depending on how invested you are. It’s so rewarding when I finish a build for one of my favorite units. The only annoying thing is the summoning. I used to let it anger me then realized its whatever. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. This game has no affect on my real life.

By far the fairest and most fun gacha ever. Seriously, the gameplay is genuinely really fun with a ton of depth. I’ve been playing almost dailt for a little less then two years (with a month break here or there) and it’s the gameplay that keeps me around.
