  • No longer able to share video to AppleTV via AirPlay

For some reason this app no longer lets me AirPlay videos to my AppleTV (YouTube and other apps work fine). I don’t want to watch videos on a phone. Please just make a standalone AppleTV app like Lynda used to have.

The subtitles don’t appear on the Apple TV when AirPlaying, they appear on the iPad/iPhone. I’m not sure what use cases that would be useful for, but subtitles should appear on the screen you are actually watching (Apple TV) rather than a different device.
  • Doesn’t like global email domains

I use LinkedIn Learning on other platforms and can log in just fine. But for some reason, the iOS app doesn’t even let me progress to the password field. It says that my email address isn’t valid. But I log into the main LinkedIn app with it just fine, as well as LinkedIn Learning on my iPad. This bug, and thus this review, are very iOS specific.

The app seems to be frying my iPhone 14 Pro. Further there is no Apple TV app. Really? OK, so next I try to air play to Apple TV. Nope! You are best off with a desktop browser or use this just for audio.
  • Overall a good app but…

Generally speaking, the app is a wonderful app. with the new daily shorts there is an air on the daily tracker as it went from 19 days and today should’ve been my 20th but it went to 10. so there are some minor bugs like that throughout the new experience.

You can get a lecture on YouTube for free, why charge $40/month just to listen to people talk and answer questions? App keeps freezing up
